She discusses our early upbringing and how that conditions us to relate to others and make decisions, seek approval, and question ourselves in spite of a deep conviction. How can we shift away from that to live in integrity and put our desires first instead of last? How can we do so without suffering the guilt-mongering from family and all the people we normally check in with?
