In the year 2000, Kevin Hines became one of only 36 (less than 1%) to survive the fall from the Golden Gate Bridge. Today, he is a best-selling author, public speaker, and award-winning documentary filmmaker who travels the world sharing his story of hope, healing, and recovery while teaching the ability to survive pain over and over again. Today, he opens up about his traumatic childhood, the day his brain broke, and the journey he has been on ever since. He discusses the instant regret he experienced as he tried to take his life, his experience in psychiatric wards, and meeting the love of his life. Kevin offers insight on how to have a conversation with someone you think may be suicidal, what he teaches people who are struggling with suicidal thoughts, and what to do when someone tells you they are suicidal.
