Do you regularly feel overwhelmed by your to-do list? Don't worry you are NOT alone. Being the incredible human being that you are tends to mean that you have a lot on your plate (or plates)
If you're anything like how I used to be that feeling of being overwhelmed can lead to a lack of focus, anxiety, panic and unable to get even the simplest tasks done. Over the years I've learned some simple techniques that really help calm that overwhelmed feeling so that I can get the important things done and in this episode I'm hoping what worked for me will work for you too.
In this week's episode I was joined by the fantastic Vicky Shilling, The Wellness Entrepreneur Coach. If you've ever let perfectionism, the fear of judgement or that little voice in your head hold you back, you NEED to listen to this weeks episode.
Full of mindset tips and words of wisdom Vicky's no nonsense approach to going after what you want will leave you feeling inspired and ready to 'just start now'
Is change possible? Some people are of the belief that it's not. That's not the case for my guest who joined me on the show this week. Brian Pennie was a chronic heroin addict for over 15 years before a mindset shift completely transformed his life. In this episode he talks about the steps he took to truly change his life and how he believes the steps he implemented can help you make any change, big or small, in your life.
Do you often worry about what people think about you? Your decisions, choices, ideas? Have you ever let it stop you from doing something you wanted to do because you were afraid of being judged? You're not alone. This whole fear of judgement and worrying about what others think of us is something that comes up time and time again in conversations with my clients.
"What will so and so think?" In this episode I talk about why worrying what others think of you is counterproductive, draining and a complete waste of your time and the one thing you can do to stop!
We can have the skills, talents and ability to do something but if the confidence piece is missing that fear can get in the way and stop us from doing the very thing that we were born to do.
I'm always asked is there a magic pill that you can take to become more confident and have that belief in yourself? Unfortunately, there isn't BUT there are things you can do everyday to improve your confidence and belief in yourself each and every day and that is what this episode is all about!
In this weeks podcast episode myself and my guest, Transformational Coach Niamh Ennis talked about change, how to adapt to it and how to put ourselves right back in the drivers seat and take back control when things aren't going our way- hello corona virus.
My guest Niamh followed her heart and changed everything about her life a few years after losing her fiancé and both her parents one after another. In this conversation we spoke about rewriting your story, discovering who it is that you want to become in life, getting clear on your vision and the steps you can take to change and transform your life.
Today's topic is an absolutely EYE opeining and LIFE changing conversation about food. If you struggle with your weight, have been on diet after diet, constantly compare or beat yourself up about your body or supposed 'lack' of willpower then this episode may just change the way you feel about food forever and give you a new perspective and relationship with food.
This week I was joined by non-diet nutritionist and Intuitive Eating Counsellor, Niamh Orbinski to talk about how Intuitive Eating could change your relationship with food forever.
I spoke to Clinical Hypnotherapist and Author of The Positive Habit Fiona Brennan on the show this week for a fascinating conversation about why it's important to process everything thats going on now rather than wait until it's all over and how working with your subconscious can actually quieten your busy mind and train your brains to become more positive.
Today's conversation and podcast episode is REALLY important. As we navigate these unchartered waters one thing is certain- we're all going to need some extra resilience and mental strength over the coming weeks and months to deal with the challenges that Covid19 throws our way. That's why I'm going to dedicate this podcast to just that and bring you conversations around what you can do to improve your mental resilience and inspiring stories from people who have overcome so much to show that we are resilient and can and will over come tough times.
