Think mindfulness is just a fad ? Think again! This week on the show I spoke to Paddy Brosnan, a mindfulness teacher who works with thousands of people helping them to become more mindful. If you're not into mindfulness and see it as a fad let me tell you this episode is for you…this is not about having a 20 minute practice in the morning or the evening, this really is about introducing more focus and intention into your life, being more mindful, being more present and how it can really give you the edge both personally and professionally.

In today's episode I spoke to coach and international motivational speaker, Pete Smith who changed his whole outlook on life when he had a stroke when he was only 35. The stroke almost killed him and doctors still don't know how he is alive today. Something changed for Pete that day - he 'woke up' and grabbed his second chance at life with both hands. In this interview he talks about how we can all lead a more fulfilled life and how the choices we make everyday impact the quality of our lives.

An average person has between 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts per day. Of those, 80% are negative and 95% are repetitive thoughts. Pretty startling eh? In this episode I spoke to high performance coach, George Anderson about improving the quality of our thoughts and how it can have an incredible impact on the quality of our lives. We also spoke about why in the age of information overload we actually need less information and more action in order to see a real change.

Her life was once ruled by an unhealthy obsession with diet and exercise, so much so that it was having a negative impact on her overall health & wellbeing. Fast forward a few years later and Maeve is now known for her body positive content and can do attitude. It's proof that we can all improve our lives with the right outlook.
