Are you ready for a little tough love?
Look, sometimes grace is absolutely warranted. A death in the family, your child going to the ER, you getting really sick (not an exhaustive list) - sometimes not doing the workout is the right (or only) choice.
But very often, you’ll look at the choices you've made and realize, “I could have walked on my lunch break here” or “if I bought a kettlebell I could get SOMETHING in next time my kids are home with a cold” or “I could have communicated better with my spouse and picked a place more in-line with my goals for date night.”
“Giving yourself grace” really comes down to showing self-compassion. And how self-compassionate is it to essentially be ignoring a very obvious recurring problem?
