Obstacle Running Adventures

Mike couldn't pick between Bridgewater Police 5k (6th annual event and never missed one) or Rugged Maniac (favorite short course OCR and top 3 overall) so he did the only thing that could be done ... both!

He ran BPD 5k at 9 in the morning and then immediately drove 2 hours to Southwick, MA for Rugged Maniac so content for the former is scarce. He did spend about 4 hours at Rugged Maniac to talk to all sorts of awesome people though so enjoy!

With Mike still busy with house renovations and Katelyn participating in a bachelorette party in New Jersey we really didn't have time to go and cover any races.

If only there was another podcaster that we are friends with who has a show focused on Spartan Race who came up from Georgia to do Killington ... Yup we had Scott "The Fayne" Knowles on to talk about his second Killington Ultra experience and more!

This event was run by Lynn Hall (does that name sound familiar?) she is the owner of BoldRDash! This episode not only has part two of our North American OCR Championships content but also a decent amount from Boston's Terrain Race!

First off you'll hear from men's relay teams (we missed coed and women teams because I needed to do my own relay), then you'll hear from the awesome race MC Justin Manning from Medal Addict! Angela and Jimmie will follow that who discuss the 15k and our relay experience. After that you'll hear Katelyn's thoughts on how she felt that the charity 7k went!

For Terrain Race audio it will start off with Jimmie/Everett's son JW, Angela, and Jimmie each talking about their time on the course. Lastly you'll hear from Dustin Dorough who I have been wanting to have on the show for well over a year, he gives us hope as to Terrain Race's future!
