“Perimenopause Awareness: How Can Film & Media Help?”
Today’s Perry talk raised awareness about perimenopause and its impact on women’s health. Sadhvi Siddhali Shree and fellow monk Sadhvi Anubhuti spoke with Kristin Cohen about the lack of education and awareness about perimenopause, even among women with symptoms. They discuss the role of media, film, and storytelling in breaking taboos and spreading knowledge. Despite challenges with funding, they believe in the widespread impact of their work. They shared insights about their upcoming docuseries Balance and their personal journeys, inspired by the silent suffering many women face.
