One of the things that I have to do a lot with my client's is give permission slips.  What do I mean by that?  Permission slips to do things that the world said or our own brains say we cannot do.  Like, saying what you want to say.

Often times I find people up in their heads working really hard to find the exact right words.  Why do they do this?  A whole litany of reasons like they don't want to upset anyone, they want to avoid confrontation, they don't want to feel or sound like a jerk.  Here's the thing, that perception that you are going to sound like a jerk, it's usually wrong!  You don't.
