Sara Agah Franti is someone who we’ve just met recently, but it feels like we’ve known her for a long time. She’s just one of those people! Sara is a former nurse who founded her own jewellery company, SaraLua. Along the way, Sara met and fell in love with her husband Michael Franti, and you’ll hear all about what it’s been like for Sara to build her own identity, what her partnership with Michael is like and the amazing work she does as the Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer for their non-profit organization, Do It For The Love.
We also chat about digital detoxes, the need for strong boundaries, what Sara thinks of systems and organization, and a lot more on this episode of The Kate & Mike Show!

On today’s episode we’re joined by Elizabeth McLaughlin, who is the founder of The Gaia Project for Women’s Leadership. You may have also seen Elizabeth on Facebook with her #ResistanceLive broadcast, where she provides a unique perspective on U.S. and global politics through her extensive background in both Wall Street and human rights law (but in a simple way that we can all understand)! Elizabeth shares about how she’s bringing new paradigms of feminine leadership into large companies that have traditionally been male dominated, how her now viral livecast got started, and what we can do as individual citizens to have our own voices heard.

Today we’re bringing you an inspiring interview with Sadie Lincoln, the founder of Barre3. There are now over 125 Barre3 locations around the world, and these studios combine yoga, Pilates and a little bit of dance-inspired movements. It’s really a whole health/fitness class committed to the development of both the mind and body, as opposed to giving promises of perfect abs and a lifted butt!
In this episode, Sadie opens up about her unconventional childhood being raised in a “village” and why she’s now divorced herself from being a public wellness figure (or “guru”)! You’re going to love the definition she uses for the word “balance”, and she also reveals powerful guidelines you can follow around social media and sharing life’s moments.
Sadie discusses how she and her husband Chris got their amazing business started and the mindset she now has around running a business. She even gives an analysis of one of Mike’s dreams, as well as explaining how you can interpret your own dreams!
