We had a cancellation for one of our recent shows and as a result I was able to put together this show today about how to prevent cancer and how to prevent all disease naturally.

At the beginning I went on a bit of a rant about why I don’t vote in presidential elections. The reasons why I don’t vote might surprise you because most of the reason why is probably stuff you’ve never heard before.

Then I did some show recaps, took some listener questions and more.

I got into how to prevent cancer around the :30 minute mark.

Like I’ve said before, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. It’s much easier (as long as you live in accordance with nature) to prevent cancer or any disease rather than trying to get rid of cancer once you have a diagnosis.

You never want to let your body get to that point. Prevention is always the answer.

The mainstream media won’t tell you this but there is a cure for cancer. They say there’s no cure for cancer and if there are, it’s chemotherapy, radiation, bone marrow transplants and surgery.

These out dated barbaric cancer treatments aren’t curing people of cancer. If anything they’re making the patient more toxic and susceptible to getting cancer.

There is a natural cure for cancer and I do mean CURE. It’s a healthy immune system. No drug, or natural substance can cure you of anything. Only a healthy immune system can prevent cancer.

So how do we get a healthy immune system so we can prevent cancer from ever taking over our lives?

This is what I talk about in today’s show. We need to get back to nature on every single level.

JUSTIN: Thank you so much everybody for joining us today. I really hope you’re having a great day out there. Today is Monday, October 15, 2012. We’re currently broadcasting worldwide from Southern California, so thank you so much for joining us. We are currently doing about three shows a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Today’s guest is Ramiel Nagel and he is an internationally recognized author, writer and speaker on the subject of health. His background includes a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California and he has extensive training as an awareness facilitator and is an avid yoga practitioner. He discovered the lost cure for tooth cavities when searching for the cause and solution for his daughter’s tooth decay. He is now helping to create a world free of dental disease.

RAMIEL: Thanks for having me.

JUSTIN: I have been thumbing through your book and it’s been quite fascinating to say the least. You actually got started with tooth decay and cavities from your daughter.

RAMIEL: That’s right. When she was a little over the age of 1, we noticed a little spot on her teeth and then we kept an eye on it, as we didn’t really know much about what that meant. We thought maybe it was a little cavity and then it became a brown spot and then that tooth crumbled apart when she was about a year and a half. As parents, we were very concerned and we called many dentists to see what treatments they had and it didn’t sound right for treatments for little kids. And of course, we got the normal recommendations of don’t breast feed and things like that.

JUSTIN: At that time, were you nutritionally aware, am sure you were, but were you as aware to know that things like not breast feeding would not be good for your daughter.

RAMIEL: I thought we were eating healthy. We were eating organic food and she was breast feeding and we didn’t give her any processed sugar or flour, so I thought we were doing a good job for diet.

JUSTIN: Wow, do you think it was more a result of things you were giving her or things you weren’t giving her?

RAMIEL: That’s a good question. After doing a lot of research, the real issue has to do with, and this is a very important thing that most people in our culture don’t know, that the health of our children begins before conception. It has to do significantly with the nutrient and biochemical balance of the parent. My partner was a vegetarian mostly and although both of us were eating organic foods, we were eating a lot of sugar, organic sugar, but lots of sweet kind of foods and not enough protein and fat, and just a lot of carbs that were not high quality. So, my partner was probably low on calcium or low on vitamin-D. So, during preconception and pregnancy and then after birth, my daughter was deficient in calcium and probably other minerals. Her system probably didn’t absorb that as well. And then, she was getting a lot of breast milk and the breast milk was probably low on calcium or other minerals. That sort of set the stage for tooth cavities.

A large percent of children are born with teeth that aren’t perfectly formed. If you look at them under a microscope you can see little imperfections and imperfect teeth became much quicker than perfect teeth. When you have that matrix set up of weakness or deficiencies, then what she eats matters a lot more.

JUSTIN: Do you think that, let’s say, you were talking about preconception and things like that. Let’s say our ancestors were meant to eat one thing and they were eating something else, there’s a lot of debate about what they should have been eating. But, let’s say they were eating one thing but they should have been eating something else, so you could say their genetics were weakened to some degree. If that were the case, how much do you think it’s possible to undo that for a couple of years if you really prepare for a child and try to eat right? Do you think it’s possible to sort of unwind the genetic dietary sins?

RAMIEL: Overall, it’s pretty amazing what we can do, like different parents are given levels of success, depending on how many generations of a lot of the foods they have and how far they go towards improving their health and how much they are exercising and what particular food they’re eating. I have seen amazing things, just the difference between my two daughters. With the second daughter, we were eating much better before conception, although our systems weren’t totally healthy, we were eating a lot of the right foods. Her head is bigger and her body proportions are completely different. Her energy level is different and her immunity to illness is extremely high. Pretty much, other than having eaten one or two bad things almost, she has never been sick and she’s 4-1/2 years old. She sleeps well and eats well and kind of has a very strong constitution. Her body looks strong.

JUSTIN: How much do you think diet is a factor for father’s versus a mother during pregnancy, and maybe preconception as well?

RAMIEL: Diet is a huge factor. There is either illness from deficiency or toxins, illness from not enough or illness from poisons. The father, before conception, makes a huge impact. Weston Price showed, in some of the studies he presents in his book, that a vitamin deficient father produced birth defects, with a healthy mother, with dogs.

JUSTIN: Really.

RAMIEL: Yes, so if even one of the parents is really healthy, vibrant and eating well. Even if they’re not eating well, but if they ate well in the past and have a good constitution, like a lot of people whose parents are from other countries, have that, the child is unbelievably much healthier, more robust and more immune to disease.

JUSTIN: The reason why I asked is because a lot of people think that diet is only important for the mother and that the father can get away with whatever he wants to eat.

RAMIEL: Not only with what he wants to eat, but in particular how much toxins are in his body, is very important. If he’s drinking a lot of alcohol or other substances near the time of conception, it makes an unbelievable difference, because that snapshot in time becomes half of the child. I bring this information forward in my other book ‘Healing Our Children’.

JUSTIN: Interesting. So, do you sometimes feel like you just want to shake the world and say ‘listen, these tooth problems are so much bigger than anyone ever even realizes? I’m sure you want people to wake up and understand the level to which these teeth issues effect our health.

RAMIEL: I think it’s just a really good point, well, I would reframe it a little bit. The first health problems people have are an indication that there is an imbalance in their bodies. It shows up in their teeth or in their gums, depending on their individual biochemical makeup. If we took that opportunity to go ‘hey, this is a warning sign that something is out of balance, and let’s look at what’s unbalanced and let’s fix it’, rather than get a dental treatment. Blame the imbalance on bacteria, get a dental treatment and then pretend like everything is okay. If we did that, there would be an enormous opportunity for people to be healthier.

JUSTIN: Right. Do you think there is a correct diet, because I know you went through a bit of a change in your dietary protocols over the years? Do you think there is a right diet for all people, or do you think that each culture could have an ancestral diet kind of a thing?

RAMIEL: Both. It’s funny because I do read up on advice and materials from different groups, like the paleo kind of thing. The paleo people are low carb people and are very popular. There are two things; one is that our ancestors evolved, our bodies have evolved, skin color, eye color, height, possibly different enzymes or different nutrient requirements, evolved from a specific environment. So, a simple example for that is the tribal, like the

JUSTIN: That’s interesting. A few years back I was reading The China Study, back when I was eating more raw vegan style, and that was mentioning something about the five countries that have consume the largest amounts of milk, am not sure if they made a distinction in that book about raw milk or grass fed milk and that kind of stuff, but he said that the countries that had the highest consumption of milk also have the highest incidents of osteoporosis. Do you think he was making an error there, or didn’t make a distinction? What do you think was going on with people that say that kind of stuff?

RAMIEL: It’s hard to say, because osteoporosis happens because of the calcium phosphorus metabolism gets out of balance. It could be trace minerals or more simply, it could be just not having enough calcium. And yes, when you asked the previous question, is there a diet that’s right for everyone? There is a general answer, a diet where the food is grown and processed with care, is a diet that’s healthy. And when you industrialize the food, industrialized flour or industrialized sugar and industrialized milk, it makes people sick. So, if there is a higher rate of osteoporosis in dairy consuming countries, it is because of the industrialized milk.

JUSTIN: It’s fascinating. What were you saying about the calcium. phosphorus and what was the other thing that had to be in balance?

RAMIEL: I said trace minerals. Tooth decay and gum disease on a biochemical level are an imbalance of your blood level of calcium and phosphorus. And that can happen for several reasons. The simple reason and the simple solution, that I present in Cure Tooth Decay book, which is we don’t get enough. We don’t get enough calcium. We don’t get enough phosphorus. We don’t have the vitamin activators that let our bodies utilize those minerals. That’s the simple way to go for now, although I’m researching into sort of being a little more specific on how people can get their body into balance.

Most diseases, if you analyse the person’s blood, you will see that they’re out of balance with calcium and phosphorus, so osteoporosis, arthritis, heart disease and a mineral imbalnce in the blood is a symptom of disease. So that’s why if a person goes to a dentist and they have a cavity or receding gums, their calcium and phosphorus is out of balance, and that’s a sign that their body’s chemistry is out of balance and their glands aren’t functioning properly and their hormones aren’t working correctly. The body is not functioning. What throws off that metabolism, what makes calcium and phosphorus out of balance in your blood, the main thing is sugar. When you eat sugar, your body will release calcium usually, but it could also release phosphorus to create, sugar actually pulls calcium out of your bones, so it gives your body a feeling of enough calcium in the blood. People’s sugar addictions might be related to not having enough calcium in their diet.

JUSTIN: I was going to ask you too about why people don’t have enough calcium. Let’s say they are eating food that has calcium and phosphorus in it, I was going to ask you about the relation for people to be able to absorb, you know they have damaged their body so much, they’re not able to absorb minerals. I guess that could be a factor as well.

RAMIEL: Yes, when you get to that point, and I’ll be specific. When people’s bodies are damaged, I’ll specifically focus on the liver. The liver is the ruler of digestion.

JUSTIN: I thought it was the colon and the stomach.

RAMIEL: You know, you can aim for those, there’s the whole gut and psychology thing that focuses on the colon, but it’s really about the liver. If you help your colon out, your liver is going to get a little relief and will function better. And the liver is also controlling how much bile is in the gut and how much acidity is in the stomach.

JUSTIN: So, if you go to the dentist and let’s say someone just goes there and the dentist says you’ve got two or three cavities here, I haven’t actually been to the dentist in quite a long time, do they want to do a filling right there or do they want to reschedule you? If they want to do a filling right there, in my mind, I would want to take at least some time to think about that.

RAMIEL: Yes, unfortunately before even getting how do you deal with that, probably about half, although there’s not good data on this, most dentists will prescribe unnecessary treatment. So, if you haven’t been to the dentist in a while, and you went to a regular dentist, there’s a chance, 50%, that you would be prescribed treatment that you don’t even need. And, here’s the simple reason why. A lot of tiny cavities, they come and go, based on what you’re eating, because it takes frequent and consistent imbalance in your chemistry to produce those tiny holes and spots in your teeth. And sometimes people correct them, let’s say when someone drinks a lot of alcohol for a couple of weeks and then decides it’s a bad idea. Or, they drink a lot of soda for a couple of weeks and get little holes in their teeth and then the holes will stop and they’ll fill up. So, when you have these changes in the teeth, the dentist can’t tell, when they see a tiny hole, if that hole has been there for six months or for five years, they don’t know. The only way dentists can know is if you’re seeing them regularly and they have documentation. Then they can tell that there’s been a significant change.

If you go to the dentist and just have little holes in your teeth, and if he pokes those holes and they’re not sticky, sometimes he won’t even poke the holes, they just take an x-ray and make a diagnosis from x-rays. I teach people in my book what the dentist should be doing. They should be looking at two signs that there’s a cavity, x-rays is one and that cavity should be confirmed with a probing, where they probe your tooth and the cavity will be a soft and sticky spot. Some people have tooth pain and sensitivity that isn’t directly a tooth cavity. This becomes very confusing as the dentist necessarily catch those and treatments fail for those are bad.

We’re with Ramiel Nagel, author and owner of curetoothdecay.com. Ramiel, I wanted to ask you, going back a few minutes to the sugar question, you said that cavities typically form from kind of a consistent elevation of sugar levels. Now, what kind of sugar are you talking about. Would that include things like fruit as well?

RAMIEL: Absolutely. The more refined the sugar, the more toxic it is to the body. The worst sugar is high fructose corn syrup. That doesn’t necessarily cause blood sugar fluctuations, but it can cause liver damage and other blood fructose fluctuations. It just causes massive chaos in the body and that will alter the blood chemistry levels. Refined white sugar will cause big and prolonged fluctuations versus a very modest sweet fruit, like a carrot or something, will have much less stronger fluctuations and less minerals will be pulled from the bones. Of course, it depends what else is in your diet as well. So, nobody should actually eat sugar, and if you have a high calcium diet they might not have cavities.

JUSTIN: I had Dr. Bob Marshall on the show recently and I heard him talking about that there is a level of phosphorus that once it gets to a certain level. I’m probably completely butchering this, but the phosphorus level, once it gets to a certain point, always triggers cavities. Now, is that true and am I stating that correctly?

RAMIEL: That sounds about right. If the calcium or phosphorus get out of balance, then there will either be tooth cavities or oral gum disease. Or, if you have not enough. Are people eating enough? Just by the US Government’s minimum intake standards, 30% of the population doesn’t get enough calcium. The phosphorus is much higher. The thing is that they made the phosphorus standard really low. I use Weston Price’s indigenous vitamin nutrient analysis to make an estimate of how much calcium and phosphorus people need to be healthy. That definitely depends on your genetics. If you’re a big person, you’re going to need a lot more calcium, if you grew up having dairy products, you’re going to need a lot more calcium. If you’re from countries who grew up with no dairy products and your ancestors didn’t have dairy products, then you need a lot less calcium.

JUSTIN: Wow, there’s so much to get to here regarding people’s teeth. I have to ask you about fluoride and I can’t let you go without talking about that. What are your thoughts on fluoride? I know you mention it extensively in your book, but for our listeners who haven’t read your book, what are you thoughts on fluoride?

RAMIEL: There are two kinds of fluoride. There’s fluoride they put in the water and then there’s fluoride they put on the teeth. The fluoride in the water, there is no evidence that that does anything at all to your teeth. I mean it messes them up, but there is no evidence that it’s going to stop cavities. In a small percentage of people who are exposed to fluorinated water, they get fluoride dental damage, which is dental fluorosis and their teeth are damaged by the fluoride. There are many studies that show that it’s poisonous.

Dr. Dean Burk, someone put this on u-tube, it was amazing to actually see this. He was director of the National Cancer Institute and a researcher there, and what he did is that he studied cities in the United States where they had fluoridated and then he looked at their cancer rate. In every city, you could correlate the cancer rate rising with the addition of fluoride. We’re giving people cancer and promoting cancer with adding fluoride to the water. There is no doubt, it’s very clear.

JUSTIN: It’s also in toothpaste as well. Is it in any other products?

RAMIEL: It’s in a lot of products. I think Prozac is made out of it.

JUSTIN: Do you really think, I’ve heard a lot of people talk about the fluoride thing and they say that they’re purposely trying to do this to us and things like that. Do you really think it’s a serious thing that they’re actively and consciously doing? Is that the case, or do you think it’s more a way to get rid of a toxic chemical that they know is toxic, but they have now way of getting rid of it?

RAMIEL: It’s hard to know what is going on, but we can just look at the facts that it’s really poisonous and it’s wrong that it’s been put in the water supply and it doesn’t stop cavities. We know all those facts and from that you can make conclusions. Now, the City Councils and Legislatures will still vote to put fluoride in the water, as they think it’s good. There is also a lot of ignorance. Someone absolutely had a plan to put this stuff in our water, otherwise it wouldn’t be in there. It wasn’t an accidental plan.

JUSTIN: I just want to ask you, on a personal level, do you go to the dentist often, or what’s your personal approach to going to the dentist?

RAMIEL: I also invent a water functional dental appliance on the top and bottom to repair the damage, I just put out an article on this, caused by conventional orthodontics. It’s profound, how many faces are getting messed up, how much stress is being put on children’s bodies by braces. Sight is the natural growth patterns of the body. That’s why I have this appliance and I go and see the dentist every three weeks to get my appliance adjusted. He doesn’t poke around my teeth to look for cavities, because it’s not his specialty. His profit is from dental appliances and he doesn’t do any drilling at all. So, I get really honest opinions from him.

Occasionally I will go for a teeth cleaning every couple of years. Otherwise, I don’t see a dentist, because what’s my point? What am I going to get? All this perspective kind of got affirmed when I met a dentist who is in charge of a large health insurance program. He investigates dental fraud. He has been in the dental field for like 30-40 years and he went to dental school and everything. She won’t go to any dentist, except for one that he trained.

JUSTIN: Is he like a biological dentist or something like that?

RAMIEL: He’s not a biological dentist, he’s just a regular dentist.

JUSTIN: That’s crazy. Back to what you were talking about before, the braces and retainers and things like that in children’s mouths, are pretty damaging, aren’t they?

RAMIEL: They’re very damaging, not all of them, but the conventional and assembly line orthodontics where the kid’s teeth are crooked and they just slap the wires on there and tighten and force the teeth to come together, are really damaging. The same with the head gear.

JUSTIN: Not to mention what those things are made of, what kind of low quality and cheap metals are they made from?

RAMIEL: They’re stainless steel but probably have nickel in them. There is some low nikolite, I forget what it’s called. They definitely effect people. I think the metals in the crowns and root canals, or even mercury fillings in children, are a lot more dangerous. What they do so that the jaw is expanding in all directions with the normal growth of the child. If the child’s jaw is not big enough, they’re going to put these braces on them and force the teeth into an unnatural position, rather than expanding the jaw with a wire or an appliance.

JUSTIN: That’s what you have, right?

RAMIEL: That’s what I have now and doing it as an adult it’s miserable and takes forever. I had braces when I was 8. If I had had one of these appliances, it would have been magic and my whole life would have been different.

JUSTIN: Speaking of the width of the jaw and things like that, are we supposed to have more space between our teeth than we do than we do?

RAMIEL: It’s not really more space between the teeth, although if children who have really good jaw development, but the width of the jaw, there’s the length, there’s the front and back dimensions and how far the upper and lower bones, that hold the teeth, come forward. There’s the width, the length and the height. There’s three teeth I mentioned in the jaw formation and the more strong the diet is, the bigger the jaw bone, the mandible and the more growth there is in the maxilla, the upper plate. So, when a child gets the adult teeth, if they have full development they will have huge spaces between their teeth before the adult teeth come in, because they have so much space.

An adult human is not supposed to have spaces between their teeth, but they are supposed to have enough room for their wisdom teeth.

JUSTIN: I was going to ask you about that. I’ve had all four of mine taken out and I was going to ask you. It just doesn’t seem, it’s just so far from what we’re supposed to be doing, the level of our health as a culture, the way we have to extract these wisdom teeth. If you really think about it, it just seems crazy.

RAMIEL: Yes, even by the conventional dentist’s standards, I put a report on this out, a lot of wisdom teeth are removed unnecessarily, millions per year and removed for the wrong medical reasons. That doesn’t take into consideration that you can take a span and create more space in the jaw to keep the wisdom teeth usually. Yes, it makes a huge difference, especially as we get older, we need those back sets of teeth to break our food down more, so that our digestion is put more at ease.

JUSTIN: I think of it and I think like, here we are as a culture, removing people’s tonsils, removing peoples appendix’s and removing people’s wisdom teeth. These things aren’t just throw away organs that we put in our bodies and they are there for a reason. It just makes no sense to me, without any real thought of alternative ways to deal with certain symptoms, just to remove these organs. In my opinion, I think it’s just ludicrous.

RAMIEL: It is and it’s based on the concept of disease, where disease attacks the innocent victim, and that the cure for disease is to remove the disease entity from the person, so the tonsils, appendix or whatever is seen as the diseased part of a person that has to be removed, like that part has died and is separate from the rest of the individual.

JUSTIN: We’ve been talking about, obviously our teeth and oral care, but I really want to bring home to our listeners the connection that the teeth have to the entire body. I know you talk about this in your book. Each tooth, I believe, corresponds to different organs, meridian points and things like that. The Chinese and Germans have done lots of studies on that and brought that to the light. But let’s talk a little bit about why people should care. I have people in my life, who I know, who just don’t really care about their teeth. It’s more than just having a nice white smile, right?

RAMIEL: It’s a good question why people don’t care, as I think they don’t care until they start getting too many drillings and fillings at the dentist, or their teeth start hurting and they don’t know what to do about it. Until then, they just think everything is fine. It’s hard to tell people why they should care, but I think what I’m offering to people as preventative dentistry is far more caring that just getting synthetic materials put into their teeth as a treatment. It’s up to the individual to want to take care of themselves.

JUSTIN: What do you make of these things people get, like the Invisalign, I know this is kind of a different product, but things that they put on there to whiten their teeth and all that stuff? What do you make of all that stuff?

RAMIEL: The Invisalign is basically braces, kind of with a plastic like retainer splint device. Some people I have talked to have said that the case studies don’t look good on the Invisalign. A lot of those things, even braces, aren’t necessarily bad if you have a good practitioner who understands where the body needs to be. With the Invisalign, you have to use it with real care, and you have to make sure that the practitioners like what they’re doing. A lot of times it’s done where people aren’t the right candidates. I don’t know how much you can move teeth. It’s kind of a thing you just must be aware of, but it might benefit some people, I don’t know.

The thing people don’t know about teeth whitening is that it doesn’t last and the more you whiten your teeth, the more they need whitening.

JUSTIN: Really?

RAMIEL: Yes, it kind of wears off and then you kind of sling shot in the other direction. And of course, it’s chemicals which are very toxic to the teeth. I kind of think that any chemical treatment in our mouth is like spraying pesticides in our garden. It works, it will kill the weeds or whatever and make things look nice, but you just poison everything. It’s poisoning the mouth and it would be interesting to look if there is a relationship between teeth whitening and teeth loss. I recommend that people be really careful with teeth whitening. There is a kind of teeth whitening that is less bad, that you can do at home, or from dentists. I don’t encourage people to do it, and I forget what it’s called. But, if you go to a holistic dentist, they probably will have less toxic teeth whitening. There is a way to do it that I found is non-toxic, and the simple way to whiten teeth is to use a little baking soda and rub it on the teeth.

JUSTIN: Yes, that’s what I do. I brush with baking soda and salt.

JUSTIN: Okay, we are with Ramiel Nagel, author of Cure Tooth Decay and he runs a website called curetoothdecay.com

Ramiel, I wanted to ask you about root canals. I have one and actually got it done, before I knew anything about health and teeth, down in Mexico, because it was 90% cheaper. God only know what I have going on in that root canal. I have a plan to go to a biological dentist in Texas. Talk a little bit about root canals and why they’re so dangerous for people.

RAMIEL: Well, the biggest thing with root canals today is that most of them are not necessary. They are not necessary by the conventional perspective of inflammation and the teeth hurt. The root canal wasn’t meant for that kind of procedure. The root canal was designed as a life-saving procedure for that tooth. That tooth was going to need to be extracted as there was no other treatment left and maybe a root canal would save the tooth. That was the idea, and that’s not necessarily a bad idea. But now, everything’s a root canal or a crown, as it’s the most profitable per hour procedures, not because people need them.

JUSTIN: And extremely damaging, because you’re basically embalming a tooth that’s trying to die. Is that what’s going on?

RAMIEL: The tooth isn’t trying to die, even. If the tooth hurts, that means the nerve is inflamed. Sometimes people will be recommended to get root canals on teeth that don’t even hurt, but there is an abscess in the gum, which may or may not even related to that particular tooth. So, when the nerve is inflamed, theory goes that there is bacteria that’s infected your teeth. The industry of dentistry has to have a theory to promote them doing these procedures, that aren’t necessarily what people want, and that theory is that there’s this bacteria that invades your body and can’t get rid of them. So, the dentist has to come in and try to get rid of this bacteria that is causing your teeth to hurt, by their perspective, so they remove the inside of the tooth, drill a hole in the top of the tooth, take out the guts of the tooth, the blood, the bone building cells and the nerve. They take that out and try to sterilize it and then they fill it with a synthetic material, such as a gutta percha. They then put a crown or a cap on top of the tooth and then you have a half dead tooth in your mouth.

What happens is, the problem with root canals is that each tooth has three miles of microscopic tubes and in those tubes there are nutrients. There’s food, there’s cells and that material in the tubes of the tooth when you kill off the nerve, putrifies. It’s like rotten vegetables in your refrigerator. You can get rotten gunk in your teeth and then, if there’s not a perfect seal on the inside of the gutta percha on the inside of the tooth, then that putrified material can start leaking and it goes right into your blood stream and right to your heart. So, there’s all these tomographies where they can correlate breast cancer, or maybe heart disease, with a root canal.

JUSTIN: Yes, I’ve heard of that. I think there’s a Dr. Bob Dowling and he says that just about all cancers are a correlation to your teeth, which is pretty fascinating. If someone has a root canal, like I have, what are some of the first steps we should think about considering, as far as what to do with a root canal.

RAMIEL: That’s where there are a lot of different opinions. I recommend the minimal invasive perspective. So, you can leave it. Almost all root canals are toxic, so the question is, are you okay with that toxic burn. Do you have a significant illness or health problems that might be improved. If you don’t have any significant health problems, then keeping the root canal is probably a good idea. You can get them redone with a more, there’s a Biocalex, I think that’s what it’s called now. Biocalex is a more organic material that they use for root canals and a dentist can seal it up. Some dentists recommend that you could shoot the tooth with different lasers to stimulate it. You can put herbs around that tooth and kind of baby the tooth and keep an eye on it. You can do the oil pulling and just take care of it, because people who get their teeth pulled, they don’t like not having that tooth there. So, having a biting surface is so important and you want to do what you can to keep the biting surface. I wouldn’t recommend just pulling a root canal unless there was a serious illness that you could be verify was being contributed to by the root canal.

JUSTIN: What do you think about, if you’re getting more advanced in age. and you’re in your 60s and 70s, at that time the burden of toxins and bacteria versus your immune system, you know, your immune system slowly starts to diminish as you get older. You may not have an issue with your immune system now, if you’re young and in your 20s and 30s, but if you keep that root canal in, would that be a burden do you think, more of a burden than your body can handle at age 70 as opposed to when you’re 30.

RAMIEL: Weston Price studied people who had root canals and the root canals today are much more precise than in Weston Price’s time. This was in the teens or the twenties, but he studied the root canals. He found that 25% of root canals followed patients to their dust. There was no observable symptoms for 25% of the people. So, some people ‘yes’, they need to have them removed at some point, and some people can handle it.

JUSTIN: Removing a tooth, right now there’s no real, I’ve heard that they’re working on regrowing a tooth from pulp and things like that, but removing a tooth is a huge deal. Once it’s gone, it’s basically gone.

RAMIEL: That’s correct.

JUSTIN: So, if you remove a tooth, let’s say you have a root canal and you get it removed, I know there’s options for what to put in place of it, but does that effect the energy systems in the body and how your teeth correlates to organs. Does that screw up that kind of energy perspective on the body?

RAMIEL: It definitely influences it by having composites or having a filling or having a root canal and it does effect the meridian of the tooth and it does effect the related organs. Pulling a tooth would also effect that meridian in a different way. There is not an easy solution and it’s like you have to chose from an array of not so good choices.

JUSTIN: Right, and how much easier is it to just take care of your teeth? You know, like preventative dentistry, like what you’re teaching people.

RAMIEL: The best thing to do is not get a root canal. There is an exciting article that I’m working on like how Weston Price recommended that people not get root canals and say, we don’t need to be doing root canals anymore, because we can prevent the problem. We shouldn’t have to do anymore root canals so it’s not going to be an issue.

JUSTIN: As far as your diet is, on a daily basis, what kinds of foods to you eat? First of all, what are some of the foods people should avoid and what are some of the top foods that people should eat?

RAMIEL: Packaged food is a simple way to describe what people should avoid. It doesn’t matter if they are organic or not, it’s the industrialization of the food that makes us sick. It’s not necessarily the ingredients, like milk or wheat.

JUSTIN: What do you mean by industrialization?

RAMIEL: Industrialization is when food went from home production to factory production. So, when the dairy went from getting it from a farm in your neighborhood, when the cows were on grass, to being confined in stalls and being fed all kinds of antibiotics and grains and not natural food. So, wheat that is being ground up in these high tech mills and preserved with different chemicals, and how the bread is made, there are so many things that turn the food that used to be healthy, into food that is no longer healthy and is grown with pesticides. So, store bought whole grain products, like crackers and breads are bad for teeth. Any concentrated sugar products are really bad for teeth, specifically synthetic sugar, high fructose corn syrup, agave or any sweetener you’ve never heard of.

Most people eat too much sugar, even if it’s organic sugar or whatever, because sugar is the third bad thing. The packaged grain products when they’re mixed with sugar, almost anything with sugar as a sweetener is bad for your teeth

JUSTIN: What are some foods that you think would really help people’s teeth?

RAMIEL: Raw dairy products, raw milk, kefir, cheese, raw grass fed cheese from healthy animals, which is probably the #1 food, grass fed butter, between a teaspoon and a tablespoon a day is good for people, and cod liver oil, fermented cod liver oil, fermented cod liver oil by Green Pastures. The #1 thing anyone can do to reduce the rate of cavities, immediately, at least 40%, is to have a teaspoon or more per day, fermented cod liver oil. One teaspoon is just an estimate, as people have to pick a dosage that’s accurate to their particular needs.

JUSTIN: And maybe their size. So, that is from what website?

RAMIEL: You can get it from oliveoilshop.com and you can get it from greenpasture.org.

JUSTIN: Is that the same thing as the high vitamin butter oil? Is that the same or different?

RAMIEL: High vitamin butter oil is also made by Green Pastures. It’s a grass fed butter that is supposed to be from the spring and summer time, where they use grazing practices and give their cows cod liver oil. So their butter is really high on vitamin-D and there is what Weston Price calls the activator-x. It’s a substance that helps your body utilize the calcium and phosphorus. The Green Pastures butter oil is an excellent product and they sold out of it and don’t have any in stock right now. Hopefully, they’ll figure that out, but that stuff is amazing for making your teeth hard and you can just take a little bit.

JUSTIN: Okay, so are those the main kind of foods that you’re talking about, the raw butters, cod liver oil, the raw milk, and the raw cheese from grass fed animals? Are there any other supplements maybe, or whole foods that you would recommend?

RAMIEL: There are many levels of what people can do to their diet to make their bodies healthy. A new insight I’ve had is to have a little bit of kelp powder, 1/8 teaspoon a day approximately, and use it as you feel like you need it. It’s really good for balancing the glands in the body and helping with the calcium and phosphorus balance. Broth from soup is really good, a bone broth. Fish stock is the best.

JUSTIN: What is that, fish stock?

RAMIEL: Fish stock, yes. If you make a broth from fish bones, it’s like magic.

JUSTIN: So, that has more of the cartilage and things like that?

RAMIEL: It doesn’t have more of the cartilage, it’s just that the sea is so rich in minerals, so seafoods are really good for minerals. They are sort of cartilage grease, and you can get that from ‘b’ for buffalo. All those things are good and I would say they’re different. The cartilage grease stuff is really helpful for bones and joints.

JUSTIN: Wow. I know we’re wrapping up here, but we have a few more minutes. I want to make sure we cover this before we go. As far as daily tooth care. You have something that you talk about called blotting and that’s to help get rid of bacteria. Right now, I brush with baking soda, sea salt and sometimes a little bit of hydrogen peroxide, like a drop, I forgot what the percentage is, 30% or something. What do you think of that and what are some ways that people can take care of their teeth in a better fashion?

RAMIEL: In my book, I recommend a couple of options, including a home-made tooth powder formula, which is as simple as what you’re using, sea salt and soda. That’s good for most people, even just sea salt. I like to use herbal tooth powder and the place I get it from is holisticdentalstore.com and that’s just what feels the best to me. I avoid the store bought teeth products mostly. I have been playing around with baking soda and I don’t think it’s good to use too much, because it’s abrasive. There is an alkalizing effect, which is fine, but it does rub down your enamel.

JUSTIN: I just put a little tiny bit in some warm water and swish it around after I have a piece of fruit or something, to kind of change the alkalinity of the mouth. Is that a good way to use it without having the abrasiveness and maybe get some alkalinity? What do you think about that?

RAMIEL: I think that would work. A little bit of abrasiveness is okay. Toothpaste was originally made so that people could clean the gunk off their teeth and polish them, like polishing a shoe or waxing your floor or something. That’s what toothpaste is for, it wasn’t for preventing cavities. So, think of that when you’re cleaning your teeth with something that should be really mild and gentle for your teeth. Yes, if you don’t use a lot of baking soda, that’s very gentle. If you’ve been using baking soda and love it, keep using it, as that’s what works for you. Sea salt is really nice. Some people like to use salt. It’s not abrasive. I like to use the herbal stuff, because it’s medicinal and has nutrients in it and it’s also not very abrasive.

JUSTIN: There is just so much to get to. Where do you see your work heading? Are you working on some new things, or writing some more books? What direction are you headed in?

RAMIEL: There’s the struggle of how to get the information out to more people. I’m selling a decent amount of books right now, but I would like to sell about double what I’m doing, so that I can help more people. I’m writing a book on how to cure gum disease. Then, what I’m focusing on is traditional grain preparation. I know a lot of people are scared of grains and avoid them, but grains, in some cultures, were considered medicinal. So, I want to make and actually manufacture and provide people with medicinal grains, where they can eat it and feel amazing and get some nutrient rich carbs in their diet, that our ancestors from different parts of the world have eaten for thousands of years. So, that’s an exciting project I’m working on, and it’s just going to be I think paradigm shifting, because a lot of people have it wrong on grains. When they do prepare them, it’s almost always incorrectly, so I’m going to clear the air on what’s correct and what’s healthy and provide people with food that they have never experienced before.

JUSTIN: It’s amazing, there’s the paleo side and then there’s the raw food side and we all demonize certain portions of food. That sounds interesting. Is that a book you’re writing?

RAMIEL: I don’t know exactly what it’s going to be. I’m writing articles and I’m also going to get into the production and manufacturing of food. It will be high standard, that people haven’t been able to get in the store before or order online.

JUSTIN: That will be great. Would you mind holding on while I close out the show?

RAMIEL: Yes, I’ll stay on.

Because our soils are so depleted today we’re lacking vitamins in our diets. The lack of these vitamins can be correlated to many diseases. That’s why I’m such a fan of superfoods because they contain huge amounts of vitamins, minerals, enzymes and other buffering phytonutrients our bodies need to keep disease away.

Through supplementation we can ingest huge amounts of vitamins if we like through a number of different ways. Some people like Dr. Mark Sircus will get creative and use transdermal magnesium therapy on the skin to get this mineral into the body.

Dr. Andrew Saul talks about taking Vitamin C orally and even intraveneously through an IV if you’re sick. There are so many ways to get nutrients into your body at really high levels if the need is there.

I heard a report recently that in order to get the same amount of nutrition that was in 1 peach in 1953, you would have to eat over 50 organic peaches today to get the same amount of vitamins and minerals.

What we’ve done to our soils is unconscionable. This is why I think it’s important to grow your own food like Dr. Saul does. After study at the Australian National University and the Canberra Hospital, he received his Bachelor of Science from SUNY Brockport at age 19. He then did graduate work at the University of Ghana, Legon, West Africa, and also at the Brigham Hospital in Boston.

He continued his education by winning three New York Empire State Teaching Fellowships, earning a Master of Science in 1989. Saul taught nutrition, addiction recovery, health science, and cell biology for nine years for the State University of New York, and clinical nutrition for New York Chiropractic College.

This, and his writing and publishing the Doctor Yourself Newsletter, brought him to the attention of Dr. Abram Hoffer. He remains on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Orthomolecular Medicine and of Orthomoleculair Magazine (Netherlands).

Saul testified before the Parliament of Canada in 2005 on behalf of the safety of nutrition therapy. That same year, he founded the free-access, peer-reviewed Orthomolecular Medicine News Service and has served as Editor-In-Chief for over 135 issues. In 2006, Psychology Today named Saul as one of seven natural health pioneers.

He has won the Citizens for Health Outstanding Health Freedom Activist Award, is an Honorary Director of the Gerson Institute, and is featured in the documentary Dying to Have Known: The Evidence Behind Natural Healing and the very popular Food Matters movie, which has brought him to the attention of a much wider audience. He has authored or co-authored fourteen books, including four with Abram Hoffer. Saul is currently Editor of Basic Health Publications’ popular Vitamin Cure book series, with over a dozen titles in print or in progress.

On a more personal note, he says “I eat an unprocessed, mostly plant-based diet, drink freshly juiced vegetables, and take lots of vitamins. I have four organic gardens, which I turn over by hand, and walk four miles each day. At age 58, I am in better shape than when I was in college, and weigh only 10 pounds more.”

Today we spoke for a 2nd time to Dr. Larry Lytle who talked about how low level laser therapy can alter the body and what it actually does.

According to the science the light waves from the Q-1000 laser restores electrons in the tissue. We lose electrons from the atoms within cells when we are stressed, sustain some kind of injury or experience any kind of stimulation or lack of circulation.

We’re losing electrons all the time and when the atoms lose their electrons they become damaged and as a result create damaged cells. These damaged cells begin to replicate thereby creating damaged tissue. This damaged tissue often times cuts off blood flow to the surrounding areas in the body.

When there’s a lack of proper blood flow, the area begins to create lactic acid and build inflammation. The resulting inflammation creates soreness, tension and ultimately pain and reduced functionality of the organ, muscle, joint or tendon.

When there’s a build up of inflammation the ph of the tissue begins to change. When this happens in the organs disease is ultimately the final result. When organs don’t function properly it puts a tremendous amount of stress on the other organs to do its job.

As you can imagine this is a low level but constant state of stress on the body. The Q-Laser 1000 restores electrons which fixes the PH of the organ or area of the body and thereby dramatically reduces inflammation.

As a result of this decrease in inflammation, more oxygen and blood flow is routed to the affected area which promotes health and fast healing. Remember the laser isn’t healing you. It’s just allowing the body to do its job. The body heals nothing else does.

So that’s how I understand what’s going on with this interesting tool called the Q-Laser.

Dr. Larry Lytle

At 78 years young, perhaps no one knows more about the theory and practice of applying energetic light frequencies to halt pain and heal diseases than Dr. Larry Lytle, one of America’s pioneers in the research and development of cold laser light technology for medical applications. A lifelong student of the healing sciences, Dr. Lytle received his first doctorate in 1964 in the field of dentistry, and his second in the field of nutrition in 1979.

We get the comments sometimes that it feels like you (the listener) are sitting on the couch in the same room with us, listening to our conversation. That’s exactly the way we wanted to structure these weekly recap shows. We wanted to make sure they stayed informal, fun, lively and most importantly inspirational and informational. So if that’s how they are coming across to you, then we’ve succeeded! 🙂

There’s always room for improvement though…

A couple of things I’d like to increase on the show is listener interaction. Once we get live shows working this will improve things quite significantly. We’d like to have lots of live listeners and so if somebody calls in with a particular ailment, other listeners can offer health tips and advice as to what’s been working for them for that particular health condition.

We’ll get there…

In the meantime we press on through the storm. In this particular show Kate and I took some listener questions. We had an interesting question about how to start from ground zero trying to get healthier. We spent the bulk of our time on this particular question.

Because it is quite an issue these days. Lots of people might find us who are people that don’t know anything about health, natural healing, herbs, cleansing and detoxification. So when you’ve been brought up your entire life eating processed junk food that causes cancer, heart attacks, Alzheimer’s Disease and other health problems, how can you expect to understand the nuances of herbal cleansing or why detoxifying the liver is so important.

You just want one tip, one strategy to be healthier today than you were yesterday. Once again we introduced the most powerful life changing dietary strategy known to man, subtraction by addition. If you want to eat paleo, 100% raw vegan, raw primal or anything in between, you must understand, subtraction by addition.

It’s the most powerful law for changing food addiction, remineralizing your body, alkalizing your blood, killing parasites and getting rid of candida. This principle is not about the food at all. When starting out on a health quest, most people beat themselves up because they focus too much on the unhealthy food choices they make.

Subtraction by addition is a long term strategy for changing your internal terrain. Or as Dr. Robert Cassar says, terrain modification. You must change how your body works. You must teach your body to burn fats and proteins for energy and not processed genetically modified carbohydrates. Using the subtraction by addition strategy it can not only get rid of candida, prevent the main catastrophic diseases of our day, help you to lose weight by burning fat, and help to cleanse and detoxify on a daily basis but more importantly it can open your mind up to what’s possible in your life.

You see food is a daily discipline. Anything that’s a daily discipline has the ability to change your life in ways you never thought possible. Food is a tool to get you to where you want to be in life. Conquering food addictions seems impossible doesn’t it? But it’s not using the subtraction by addition principles over a long period of time.

The goal is to retrain your mind, to NOT focus on immediate physical results. The physical is merely a representation of what’s happening inside your body. It’s about focusing on cleansing your organs and changing your internal terrain and as a result you’ll start to see physical transformations you never thought possible.

Can you imagine walking by an Italian restaurant and smelling the odor of freshly cooked basil and garlic tomato sauce and having big bowl of pasta, but NOT being tempted by that in the least bit?

Can you imagine sitting down at a dinner table where your friends are eating the best pizza ever and not being tempted at all? Well I’m not bragging but that’s me now. Now that wasn’t always me. I was so addicted to carbohydrates it was sickening. But the power of subtraction by addition over time is nothing short of awe inspiring.

He mainly works with cancer but if you go on his website you can see all the different types of health conditions he’s working with. And apparently he’s having lots of success.

He actually goes deep into the mines and caves himself and extract these rare earth stones from the ground that give off a certain low level radiation. We’re taught that radiation is bad. But that’s just because typically when people are exposed to radiation it’s in adulerated high frequency forms.

If you think of an X-ray or radiation that you’d get along with chemotherapy and surgery for cancer then you need to protect your body from it. But radiation in very low dose forms that are naturally being emitted from stones is a different thing all together.

It’s like comparing apples to oranges.

Jay seems like a humble man doing some pretty interesting work. He has these water stones that you can put into your water and be able to drink in this low level radiation. He also has green stones that can be used on the eyes for macular degeneration, cataracts, glaucoma and other eye diseases. The green stones can be used for many other purposes as well. It just depends on how creative you can get with them.

Also he’s got mud packs that are made from the crushed up radio active stones. Normally mud packs have to be used fresh every single time and can add up over years. But his mud packs are something you only buy once because the mud actually stays inside the plastic itself. So you can look at it as a one time investment.

Mud packs are something used to remove toxins, chemicals and poisons from different areas of your body. They are extremely effective and I can’t imagine how much better they’d be if they were made from mud that has low level radio activity in it.

I think Jay Gutierrez is doing some very interesting work and if you’re sick or simply want to take your health to the next level I would definitely call him up and see what happens.

After years of working, I was able to mine the stone and started to make jewelry. As time passed, I started getting numerous reports back from people saying that they were getting healings and pain relief from the stone. Too many to believe that it was all “In their heads”. I then took the stone to the labs and had it analyzed. During this time, after a lot of searching, I was able to find a few doctors that would use the stone with their patients. The results were phenomenal!

The lab report came back and I researched every element that the stone contained. By chance, when the time was right, I stumbled across “Radiation Hormesis”. The stone contained thorium and was slightly radioactive. The way I have been guided, I was able to locate material that has made it possible to enhance in a safe manner the healing properties of natural radiation hormesis.

Hopefully this website will help you with research on “Radiation Hormesis”. After you have done this you can make your own decision about helping yourself. I thoroughly believe that we have had the capability to help many people live longer and healthier. The problem with this kind of hormesis is that you cannot find a doctor that will give you the very low dose radiation treatments several times a week. Even if you did, the cost involved would probably be outrageous and would be X-rays, not natural Alpha, Beta, and Gamma rays.

If you realize the significance of this therapy and wanted it, you would be hard pressed to find a natural source. Even then, you would have to make sure that the radiation source was of a low level. Radiation Hormesis has been proven historically, scientifically, and with present day testimony.

On a personal note, I believe God doesn’t call on the qualified, He qualifies the called. I am also a medicine man and am covered under NAFERA,(Native American Free Exercise of Religion Act, 1993). I had tried a few times to walk away from this calling, but somehow I was always called back. I finally figured it this way, if I was walking along and picked up something that I realized was actually helping people avoid pain and suffering, would I put it down and walk away, or would I do my best to let people know? We had no interview scheduled for today because Kate was on her silent retreat high in the hills above Los Angeles so I decided to do a Free For All Wednesday show.

At the beginning of the show I talked about how our culture is so focused on doing things and accomplishing things. I talked about how our “to do” lists are really damaging to us how the stress caused from them is affecting our health.

I’m not a fan of to do lists and placing more importance on doing vs being as you can probably tell by listening to this latest episode.

I also talked a little bit about reaction and how reaction kills creativity. If you think about reaction, you’re re-acting something that happened in the past. Most of how we operate in the world has to do with reaction. Most media wants us to re-act.

But what are we re-acting? We’re not re-acting what they’re feeding us are we?

No.

We’re reacting the “story” we’ve told ourselves about how we respond to specific situations. So if I have a situation that is designed to get a reaction in me, then the media will play off that and will feed me images and sounds in order to illicit an emotional re-action.

How can you be creative and respond to any situation if you’re living a pre-programmed story you created for certain situations?

We also took some listener questions and Kate called in from the road on her way back from her silent retreat to talk about her experiences being away for 3 days.

Episode #177—How Your To-Do Lists Are Killing You, Reaction Kills Creativity, Listener Questions & More—11-13-2013

Peter: I’m on here with Justin and Kate and my great partner, Tristan Truscott and we’re on Extreme Health Radio and we are excited!

Justin: Well, thank you so much, everybody, for joining us on another episode of Extreme Health Radio. As you probably know by now, the intro music is different. We no longer have our little friends. I don’t know. I just felt like that was a little explosive. Did you guys like that music, or that intro before? I’m not really sure about that intro. I don’t know. It always seemed to be so explosive and something about it was just too… a little too much for me and Kate.

As you probably know, this is just me on this episode. This is Episode 177 of Extreme Health Radio, a Free For All Wednesday, and I hope you guys are enjoying your day, whatever you’re doing. Today, for reference, is Wednesday, November 13, 2013. Yesterday was 11-12-13. That’s a weird date, isn’t it? So today is Wednesday, November 13, 2013, and Kate is on her silent retreat. She is being silent today. We’ve been calling her just about every day and talking to her and she’s having a great time. She’s actually going to be driving home right now, back to Orange County where we live, and she’s had a great time.

I think it’s really important, especially for someone like her, to get away, because in her salon and her life, is so busy; it’s so jam-packed with everything and she’s got people talking to her at the salon. It’s really interesting. For people that are hair stylists, you guys probably know this, but for people that don’t know—and I didn’t really think about this much—but being a hair stylist is really a crazy job. She has to perform a service on people’s hair and do a good job—good enough to want to make them come back—but then she also has to make them feel good, you know? So she has to be interested in their stories and give her time and her energy and her emotion to whatever it is they’re interested in.

And she’ll talk to me about how people will come and sit in her chair and they will just blab on and on and on and on about stories in their own life without ever asking her anything about what’s going on in her life, and it’s just a fascinating thing, you know? A lot of people tend to do that, where they will talk and talk and talk and talk and never ask you any questions about what you’re doing. And then so she has to make them feel good and then she’s standing all day, so she’s interacting with all these people, trying to please them, trying to make them feel good, and then she’s also standing and performing a service with that stress and then on top of that, she’s breathing toxins and all of that. So she needed to get away and I completely understand that. She is in the hills. I’m not sure where she is—somewhere north of LA—and she’s having a great time. She took her books and she took her water enema kit and she is really enjoying her time out there and I think it’s really cool that she was able to do that.

It’s a beautiful day here in Southern California. Yesterday was a bit cloudy, a little bit cold; today… But the sunset yesterday was incredible. And then today it’s just clear blue skies and the sun is out. I took Maggie for a walk this morning. We went down by the park. She did her business. And let’s see… What else did we do? We walked down by the beach about 7:00 in the morning and had a great walk with Maggie, did a little bit of rebounding this morning…

You know, it’s interesting. I was thinking about this the other day. You ever think about how it’s just strange how in our culture we… I don’t know why this is. Maybe it’s ingrained in us from the beginning, where we don’t like laziness or we don’t like people sitting around doing nothing, but it’s funny how we have our to-do lists, you know? I was just thinking about this this morning and I get up and you want to just accomplish things, you know? You want to just do things. You want to just get things crossed off your list. You ever get like that? Where it’s like all you care about is getting stuff crossed off the list? And then what you’ll do is you’ll put stuff on the list that you’ve already done just so that you can cross it off. I’m sure you guys have done that. You know, it’s just crazy, you know?

Why do we put so much value in accomplishing things? I don’t know. I mean it seems… It’s also not good to sit around and be a sloth and be lazy and not do anything, but at the same time, you get this idea that we have to accomplish things; we have to achieve goals and cross things off our list and do things. It’s so… I don’t know. I think it’s… I don’t know. I just don’t think it’s healthy. I think that we need to spend more time just relaxing and being and thinking about things, perhaps, or reading or… I don’t know. I mean those are all doing things too, but I just think that we run around so much in our culture and we place so much value on doing things and accomplishing things.

I think there’s a lot more to life than crossing things off a to-do list. And to-do lists… I think it’s really hurting people. I think it’s really a negative thing. I mean I have talked to people who—friends or whatever—have a to-do list, a honey-do list or something, that they have to get to on the weekend and their wife will get angry with them if they don’t complete everything that’s on the list that she made for them. I don’t know. I just think it’s backwards in our culture. I woke up today thinking, “What do I have to do? Okay, I’m going to walk Maggie before the show”—before I came into the studio—“and get my rebounding done and get my sauna done and get all these different things done,” but for what? You know? I mean I love doing those things. I love doing the sauna. I love doing the rebounder. And I love doing the show. And walking Maggie was fun. And at the same time, I understand—if we don’t have a to-do list, if we don’t have a list to get things done, then we don’t accomplish our goals, and there is such a fine line, isn’t there, between accomplishing your goals and also living a life of peace and relaxation and going inward and thinking about spiritual things and things like that? I mean there is such a fine balance.

And I think most importantly, about the to-do list, one of the things that’s probably most important is just to first have that awareness of what it’s doing to you and how you’re reacting to it, as opposed to letting it control you and letting it control your emotions and things like that because when you start letting your to-do list dictate whether or not you feel good, something’s probably wrong with that, right? I mean if you don’t feel somehow as good or as accomplished one day because you’ve crossed eight things off your list of ten things to do… It just seems like why can’t we look at that list and say, “Hey, we’ve crossed eight things off the list. Isn’t that great?”? Or what if we’ve crossed none off the list and we’ve just had the most amazing day?

I mean as a child, did we have to-do lists before we had things like school and things like that? I mean when we were out playing in the summertime, did we have to-do lists? I mean I understand that as adults and as responsible people, we have to get things done. I mean there’s no doubt about that. But letting these things control our life and letting these things control our emotions is really a negative thing in my mind. And taking the value off of these things and not placing so much value on accomplishing things… I mean it’s sort of similar to kids. You know how we want kids to be involved in school and practice and doing sports and running them around from everywhere to everywhere to get things done, to accomplish things? Pretty soon they’re 15 years old and they’re 30 years old. Then what? I mean what has all that really accomplished, except add a little bit of stress to our lives? I don’t know. I just see people running around here where we live and they are just running kids all around. They’re kids are involved in soccer and baseball and ballet and dance and all these different activities and then after school… They’ve got five hours of school and then we’ve got a couple hours of homework. When are we letting them be kids, you know? When are we letting ourselves live life instead of just accomplishing and doing things?

I think it’s okay to have a to-do list and want to get things done and want to be successful, but not letting those things run our life and not letting those things dictate how we feel and dictate the amount of stress that we have, you know? It’s just an interesting thought. I don’t know. I think that there are ways to deal with that. It’s funny. When I was on the walk with Maggie this morning…

It’s so funny how dogs do this. She ran up this hill to this house and there was a little dog there that she always plays with. But when the dog is behind the fence, she always barks and she goes and she just races off against the house and starts barking and wanting to start a fight. And so she did this the other day while I was walking her and the other dog was right there and they were barking, as if they were going to tear each other’s heads off, you know? But one was on the other side of the fence, the gate. And then it was so funny. I said, “No. Come on, Maggie. Come on. Let’s go. Let’s go.” And she’s just going nuts. She was about ready to… I mean they were about ready to go to war here and they’re just barking, barking, barking. I’m sure all the other neighbors were looking—“What the heck is going on?” And so it was so funny. I told her “Come on, Maggie. Let’s go. Let’s go. Let’s go.” And she stopped for a second, ran, and then she stopped again, and then she just shook it off and then she just kept walking towards the beach. It was so funny because her mouth was open, tongue hanging out because she was tired, and she was breathing through her mouth. It was as if nothing ever happened.

Isn’t that funny how dogs do that? Could you imagine if that were us? The equivalent of that for us would be maybe something like being in a road rage situation where you’re on the freeway and somebody cuts you off and you throw your hands up and then all of a sudden the guy stops in front of you, if it’s like bumper to bumper, and he gets out of his car. Then you freak out, right? And then your heart starts beating and “What’s going to happen?” and maybe you get out or maybe you don’t. But having a situation like that happen and your adrenaline is going, your cortisol levels are raised, every sense about you is heightened and aware and you feel like you’re about ready to get into a fight or perhaps an altercation that could end poorly. And then let’s say somehow it deflates and you yell at each other and you get back in your car, and then you get back in your car—you’re going to be feeling that for the next few hours, aren’t you? Feeling like that guy could have pulled a gun on you, right? Or that guy could have done something really, really bad. And so you’re going to be feeling that adrenaline. But with dogs, the same situation happens and they just keep running. They don’t care. They’re just running along and they’re just happy to be alive. “Oh, that was a lot of fun.” And they just keep going.

It’s so funny how dogs are, you know? It’s crazy. It’s such a cool way to be and it’s such a lesson for us, you know? It’s such a lesson for us and I think it’s something that if we can help regulate in our life—the stress and how we view stress and how we view our to-do lists and how we view these things—if we could just let those things go, we’re just learning so much on this show and from our past guests about stress and our mental state and our exposure to EMFs and all this kind of stuff, where our reactions to things has such a determining factor on our physiology and our health. It’s just really fascinating to understand what’s going on and how much of an impact our reaction and our mental state and our stress levels have an impact on our health and then on our life. You know, when we react to things, you can’t be creative, right? I mean isn’t it interesting how…?

Like for example, for me, we live in a very loud neighborhood and that’s just my opinion and my preconceived notion upon where we live, but it’s very loud where we live and so when I woke up this morning, there were a couple cars out with their engines—their diesel engines—running and they’d created this background noise. It was really loud and a bunch of people outside our place. You know, it’s funny our reactions to things because when we react to something… I mean think about that word, “react.” We’re “re” “acting.” You can’t be creative when you’re acting something that’s already been acted out. We’re reacting something. And what are we reacting? Well, we’re reacting this story that we tell ourselves, right?

So like this morning, I was taking Maggie for a walk, like I said, and I saw two different people driving while looking down at their cell phones, and that really… On one level, that really bugs me, right? That really bugs me because I think, “Okay, they’re going to…” Well, I mean one of these people was driving in front of a school, like a kindergarten or whatever, and all these kids were running around. And I see him driving by and he’s on his cell phone, texting. My first reaction is to get angry and upset, because this guy’s going to hit someone—that’s not good—and he’s going to kill someone—that’s not good. But what am I reacting? I’m reacting the story I’ve already told myself. I’ve told myself that this is how I’m supposed to feel when I am exposed to this. And so it’s almost as if when I tell myself that, God’s going to give me more of that in order to work on myself, in order to show me more about who I am and how I am acting in this world.

And so you see that all the time. It’s sort of like getting a car, you know? You buy a brand new Nissan—a white, four-door Nissan—and then all of a sudden, you start seeing everybody with a four-door Nissan, right? It’s just interesting to pull back and to look at the stories that we create because we all live in stories, right? We create a story for ourselves and it’s not necessarily even true, but we tell ourselves “This is how I react to things when certain things happen” or “I am this way. I am not a very creative person” or “I am not a good public speaker” or “I’m not very good-looking” or “I’m not very this or that,” and we tell ourselves these things that are just stories. We live in a story that we have created for ourselves and we can create any kind of story we want, can’t we? I mean we have the ability to create any kind of story we want, but we’ve created a story about—or at least I have—getting upset when I see people driving around not only just talking on the cell phones, but texting, because they’re going to end up hitting someone and someone I love is going to die or they’re going to kill themselves or something, and so I’ve told myself a story that I am the type of person that gets upset when I see something like that happening. But that’s just a story. I can choose to react however I want.

When I was a child, I would react out of my feelings at the moment, but now, it’s like all of a sudden something happens and boom—I slip right into that story, telling myself “Oh, this is how I react when I see this.” And so what does God do? He sends more of that to show you “Hey, you don’t have to react that way. You can act any way you want. You don’t have to react. You can act and choose to be creative, any way you want. You don’t have to react to the story that you have already told yourself.” And we’ve all told ourselves a story and the story is whatever makes us feel good or whatever causes us to have that buffer inside of ourselves that allows us to complain about certain things or be upset or angry or allows us to solidify a preconceived notion or story about who we think we are in order for us to make ourselves feel better. So a lot of times we’ll be upset about something or we’ll tell ourselves some story so that it allows us to complain about something, because if we complain, we get sympathy from people, and if we get sympathy from people, then we feel like people will understand us, right? And if people understand us, they’ll understand where we’re coming from and they’ll maybe give us some more attention or they’ll do certain things so that it makes us feel better.

And it’s all just stroking the ego of which we’re not anyway, right? All these stories and egos and all these things—they’re not really us, right? I mean that’s not us at all. So what story are you telling yourself? Are you able to tell yourself a brand new story about who you think you are and what you’re doing here in this world and what God has told you or what God has given you in terms of gifts to give to the world? We’ve each been given gifts by God and what are those gifts and can we tell ourselves a story that would facilitate us living in such a way that would be able to expand those gifts to help more people and to be able to actually use those gifts to create the kind of world that we want our children to live in, that we would want in 30 or 50 years? And so telling ourselves a story of who we think we are, we just snap right into these pre-defined modes or roles, I should say, of reaction.

And like I said before, there is no creativity in reaction. When you are reacting something, you are living it over again and basically, you’re creating a deeper groove in your neurobiology that will cause you to continue on the path of that same reaction in the future. So you’re just carving out a deeper groove in your neurobiology that will cause you to continually be subject and to be a slave to your preconceived story that you’ve told yourself. And so having the ability to say, “Hey, I can act any way I want in this situation. I can choose to be anything I want. I can choose to react any way I want. I can choose to say, ‘Hey, maybe that guy is texting his wife who is going into the hospital and maybe everything is going to be okay’ or maybe I could pray for him and say, ‘God, please allow him to realize what he’s doing so that he doesn’t hit somebody,’” because I almost got hit by a car last week and I’m sure that many of you have heard that episode where a guy almost ran right into my door. And so perhaps he was texting, perhaps he wasn’t, but… And so really giving the person the benefit of the doubt and forgiving them and forgiving ourselves for snapping into a role like that, I think is really important.

It’s funny. If you start to really be aware of who you are and what types of mental reactions you have to things, it is really important, because you can choose to be a person that reacts like that and as a result, your cortisol levels go high and your stress levels go high, and pretty soon, when you’re 50 or 60 years old, you’ve aged a lot more than you would have wanted to, but not only that, the aging process has caused stress and those sorts of hormones like cortisol to cause damage to your internal organs and a disease could manifest as a result of years and years and years of settling into a groove that you’re a person that acts in a certain way. And it’s really important to realize that we can act however we want. We don’t have to re-live or react to the story that we’ve told ourselves. And the beautiful thing is that we can just tell ourselves any story we want. We can do anything we want. We can be anything we want.

And so being able to realize that and have that awareness instead of just snapping right into those modes is really a cool thing, because when you realize that you can choose these things, then you have that awareness and then when something like that happens, you’ll start to realize that “Hey, I have that awareness and not only do I have that awareness…” Sometimes you might have that awareness and still react and you get into that emotional state and you cause stress and anxiety to happen in your life, but that’s a cool step because you have that awareness. That’s the first step, right? Realizing that “Hey, something more is going on. There is a third-party witness here,” almost, you can say. And that third-party witness is really who I am. It’s really the essence of who I am and that person is witnessing how I am reacting.

And so then, if you have a few times of just having that awareness during a stressful situation, then you can start being in a situation where you have that awareness and then you can take it to another step and you can almost control the situation. You could say, “Okay. Okay. Step back. Step back. Step back.” In your mind, you can do this. “Okay, step back. Step back. Step back.” Take a deep breath and realize, “Okay, what am I doing here? I’m just acting out a role that I’ve told myself I am, which I’m not. But I’m just acting this out and now I can take a deep breath and I can just choose to not have any reaction and let it bounce off of me or I can choose to act in a positive way” and then I could do that. And when you start realizing you have that power, it’s amazing. I don’t know. I’ve been noticing it in my life over the past six months and it’s really, really an amazing thing. So think about trying to do that, if you can. Yeah, if you can, that would be just a cool experiment, I think, to do.

You know how guys are—we can’t do more than two things at one time… or more than one thing at one time. Gut Sense, and then he wrote a book called Fiber Menace. All I know is I eat fruits and vegetables and lots of them, mostly raw but some cooked. Like last night I had some free range, organic, high quality chicken with some steamed veggies and some steamed carrots, some steamed broccoli and a little while after that I had my green juice, which was obviously all raw—low-sugar green juice.

And before that, I did my coffee enema. That was quite an interesting experience. I’ll tell you. I hadn’t done a coffee enema for about a week and a half and I try to do them every single day… or not every day—who am I kidding? Every week. I try to do once a week. And Kate does them a lot because she’s in the salon and she’s trying to reverse some digestive issues. But she does them a lot. I try to do them once a week. I hadn’t done them for about a week and a half. Crazy. And so when I did the enema and I had the juice and I had the chicken, my stomach was so… I had so much gas. I was bloated. But now I feel fine. So I’m not sure if any of you guys have ever had that experience.

Yeah, Stella. I don’t know what to say. I would say I would eat more fruits and vegetables. That’s my opinion.

Did any of you guys get a chance to hear some of our latest episodes? Did you hear that one with Rod Czlonka, Episode 172, how he reverses terminal brain cancer naturally? Man, that was good. He is really, really good. I loved the show with Rod and he talked a lot about the EMF situation because he was diagnosed. He started having seizures. He took this new job. He had like a new sales job at 41 years old and I think it was a new sales job or something, where he was given a cell phone and he said he was using the cell phone over 1,000 minutes a month, which is not even that much, I mean considering today. This was, I think, in 2003, so it would have been ten years ago. But he used it for 1,000 minutes a month. That only equates to 33 minutes a day. I mean most people are using it longer than that. Thank God, I don’t have one. But yeah, he used it 1,000 minutes a month and it wasn’t too long until he started developing seizures and went in for a brain scan and had this incredible tumor. The doctors were able to take the tumor out and do brain surgery on him. He should have called Dr. Jack Kruse, actually. But he did a brain surgery and then they wanted to put him on chemo and then he was on all these different rounds of chemo and radiation. They basically told him “Hey, this stuff’s not working. The cancer’s coming back. You only have a certain amount of time to live. Get your affairs in order because it’s time to die.” And so it was quite a story he has about how he came back from that. He talks a lot about the acid-alkaline balance of the body and the electromagnetic field radiation. Man, it’s crazy. It was a good episode, Episode 172.

And then we had Dr. Victor Zeines on and he is… Talk about a top-notch, natural, holistic dentist—biological dentist—that you’ll ever hear, Episode 173. And we talked about the surprising link between oral health and disease and what we can do about it. And so he gave a lot of tips on what you can do to remineralize your teeth, to remineralize your gums, to prevent tooth decay and to turn your oral health around using herbs and essential oils. He gave a list of a bunch of different things. Good stuff. Really, really good stuff.

And then we had Dr. Jack Kruse. Now he has to be one of the more fascinating guys that I’ve ever heard because he’s a Paleo guy but we didn’t even talk about the Paleo diet, which was crazy. We barely even talked about that. We talked about his story, about being I think 354 pounds and how he was able to lose 133 pounds in 12 months without exercising. Isn’t that crazy? Wouldn’t that be…? It’s like don’t you want to just put a guy like that on Celebrity Fit Club or these weight loss TV shows—The Biggest Loser? You know? And show the people that hey, there’s more going on to your inability to lose weight than diet and exercise. I mean it’s absolutely crazy. He did this thing called The Leptin Protocol and as he said on the show, he locked himself into his man-cave for about six months because what happened was he was 350 pounds and he was giving a lecture. He’s a neurosurgeon, by the way—Dr. Jack Kruse.

And he was giving a lecture and he got up from the dinner table to give his presentation, wherever he was—somewhere in Alabama doing the lecture on surgery and that kind of thing—and he tore his meniscus. And so a friend of his gave him a book to look into and say, “Hey, I think I may know what’s going on with you,” you know? And so he started doing some research and he spent about the next eight months doing this incredible amount of research as to why he was overweight, why his hormones were out of balance, why he was having these health problems, why he tore his meniscus or whatever it was. And he came up with this thing called The Leptin Prescription and it’s absolutely fascinating. And then he also developed this thing called the Cold Thermogenesis Protocol. I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of that, but he goes into how ice and how cold affects our physiology and our biology and what it really does is it affects the brain and all of these diseases like obesity and all these types of things—diabetes—they’re all brain conditions and they have really nothing to do with the body. They’re just a brain imbalance—a chemical imbalance in the brain—and we go into that in that show, Episode 174. Really fascinating. Really, really fascinating show. So I encourage you guys to check that out.

I’ve got to work on that. And I don’t know what episode where it was that we talked about low blue lights. I think there were a few. But yeah, sorry about that. We’re going to be working on this. You know, this is a one-man show here. Until we can get Kate out of her salon, until we can build this thing up to be bigger and better, we are just a one-man show. It’s basically just me. So forgive me if I haven’t gotten back to everybody. I apologize for that. Yeah, I know if you go to Amazon… You can go to Amazon, if you like, through our link and we’ll get a little commission, but there are little blue light sunglasses you can check out on Amazon. So yeah, that’s something to consider. Dr. Jack Kruse was really big on that. He said that the Flux program wasn’t good enough. He said it wasn’t powerful enough to lower enough of the blue light, so now I’ve been going back to wearing my glasses—my low blue light glasses—as well as having the Flux program on my computer at all times during the night. So if I’m working at night—boom—that’s always on. Always on.

So it’s really good for that sort of thing. It’s also very good for exercising internal organs. It’s the only internal organ exerciser that I know of, known to man.

Justin: Dr. Lindsey Duncan is the CEO and founder of Genesis Today and what’s the best way that you think of to stimulate the lymphatic system of the body?

Lindsey: Rebounding is incredible because it’s good for the lymphatic system and there’s more lymph fluid in the body than there is blood. And the quickest way and the most effective way to get the lymphatic system flowing is through rebounding itself.

Justin: Yeah, because the lymphatic system can’t really detox itself, can it? I think…

Lindsey: No, the heart… We have the heart, thank you, for pumping blood and we don’t have a heart to pump lymphatic fluid. The only thing that really can pump lymphatic fluid is cardiovascular exercise utilizing the thighs—the thigh muscles. And that’s why rebounding and getting a burn in that thigh muscle is so important for the flow and the stimulation of the lymphatic fluid.

Justin: Wow. And they even put cancer patients on rebounding, don’t they?

Lindsey: Nutritionists do.

Justin: Yeah.

Lindsey: Yeah, absolutely.

Justin: Yeah, but not a conventional doctor. But yeah, I’ve been learning about rebounding lately. It’s quite an amazing thing.

Justin: Health researcher and author of Cancer: Step Outside The Box, Ty Bollinger, what do you do in your life to prevent cancer?

Ty: What do you do to treat cancer? What do you do to prevent it? Rebounding is something that I try to do on a daily basis, a little mini trampoline for those people that aren’t familiar with the term “rebounding.” But it’s basically just jumping up and down on that little mini tramp. What that does is it stimulates the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is one of our primary detoxification systems in our body and most folks don’t stimulate their lymph flow and so the toxicity in their body builds up because their lymph is not stimulated and the up-down motion on a rebounder stimulates the lymph flow better than just about any other exercise. So I do that almost on a daily… probably five days a week, I would say I average doing that.

Having talked with Phil—I’m not an expert in the technology of the Relax Far Infrared Sauna—but having talked with Phil in person and on the phone off the air, as well as on the air, I know that his products are just top of the line and so worth the money. So like I said before, whenever you try to go the cheaper route, what you’re going to end up doing is just buying something else because that will fall apart soon. So it’s just worth it. Kate: Yep. I had some really cool things happen and it was just a great time away to reflect and be by myself. But I miss you and Maggie and I am headed home.

Justin: I know. So you said the weather was pretty good up there, right?

Kate: The weather’s amazing. It’s probably 80… 75 and super sunny.

Justin: Really?

Kate: It’s gorgeous, yeah.

Justin: And you went on a couple hikes, yeah?

Kate: Three nights.

Justin: Wow. No, but you went on a couple hikes, right?

Kate: Hikes—I’m sorry. Yes, I did. I went on close to a two-hour one yesterday.

Justin: Really?

Kate: And went on another about an hour one. It’s phenomenal. You wind through these hills. Just Montecito is gorgeous, above Santa Barbara, and there are just the neatest houses. They are so gorgeous. They are pretty Spanish-style and tons of grounds and paths and fountains and one house had like a parakeet sanctuary in their backyard.

Justin: Really?

Kate: Pretty amazing.

Justin: Wow. Did you have breakfast this morning? Do you have a time-release breakfast with Atom Bergstrom?

Kate: You know what? I think I might have seen Atom Bergstrom.

Justin: Really?

Kate: I’m not sure. I was walking… Actually, I’m drinking my smoothie right now as I drive home, but I had a fresh-picked orange off of the tree out in the orchard outside my hermitage I was staying at. It was amazing. But I was doing that hike this morning and coming down the main road and this man driving a car kind of slowed down and I waved and he waved and I got a glimpse. It could have not been him, but I felt like “I just saw Atom Bergstrom.”

Justin: Oh my gosh. How funny. Wow.

Kate: I could be really wrong, but it looked like him from what I’ve seen. Isn’t that pretty funny?

Justin: Oh, that’s hilarious. So are you just leaving now?

Kate: I am an hour and 40 minutes into it.

Justin: Oh, so you’re going to be back here pretty soon.

Kate: I know. I wish I was there to be your sidekick today, but it’s not going to happen.

Justin: I know. It feels weird doing a show without you.

Kate: Aw, thanks. I know.

Justin: Yeah, it’s not the same. That’s for sure.

Kate: Aw. I know. I love my life. I love what I do. I gained a lot of things coming down the mountain, the hills, but what I feel like the most is I just love my life. I love everything that’s going on. I love where it’s leading up. I am very excited to see what’s going to happen as we keep going.

Kate: Yeah, it’s pretty great.

Justin: That’s so cool. So when are you going to be back home, do you think?

Kate: Probably… Well, it’s 10:10 right now, by the way.

Kate: I just looked down at the clock because you asked me what time I’d be home. I keep seeing these numbers.

Justin: That’s crazy.

Kate: I’ll probably be home around, I’d say 12:00 or 12:30.

Kate: Let’s do it.

Justin: That’d be cool, because I’m not going to the gym today, so we could walk Maggie and spend some time in the sun.

Kate: Oh, that’s going to be fabulous. Beautiful there too?

Justin: Yeah. Oh my gosh. It’s incredible. It’s weird. It’s like yesterday was cloudy and very fall-like, like it was up there, like you said. And then today is sunny and blue and so nice.

Kate: Exactly how it is there.

Justin: I know. I know. So I did an enema last night. I think I told you, didn’t I?

Kate: You what?

Justin: I did an enema last night.

Kate: Oh yeah, you did, huh?

Justin: Yeah. Yeah.

Kate: How did that go?

Justin: It was good. I did it and I took your cue from you and I fished around with the big barbecue skewer stick thing—whatever it is—and I found absolutely nothing.

Kate: Really?

Justin: No worms, no weird flesh-like objects—nothing.

Kate: No monsters in your bowel?

Justin: No monsters in my bowel, no. Nothing with eyes on it.

Kate: Well, you are probably a lot healthier than you even know.

Justin: Well, I don’t know about that, but yeah, it was weird. I think after I had a juice and like I was telling the listeners before, I got really bloated by it.

Kate: Huh. Well, I’m listening to all kinds of interesting podcasts talking about digestion and how a lot of times you have digestive problems are just stemming from something more emotional or very intuitive people, listening to your… Oh gosh, I’m blanking on her name—Mona Lisa [inaudible 1:11:57.7].

Justin: Oh yeah.

Kate: One of the [inaudible 1:12:00.2] she’s mentioning how a lot of intuitive people are prone to digestive stuff. It’s not just a physical thing. It’s stemming from an emotional connection.

Justin: Wow. Crazy stuff, huh?

Justin: I know. Sometimes you have a fresh vegetable juice with no fiber in it and on an empty stomach and you look like you’re nine months pregnant.

So yeah, we have another email here. Let’s see. What do we have? We have another email here from Julia. “Hi, Justin. My most extreme concern is for my ten-year-old type-1 diabetic son. He was diagnosed at 26 months old.” That’s crazy. Type-1 diabetic at 26 months old. That’s two-years old. Look how quick I am with math. “He was very sick with a virus before he was diagnosed. He is on the insulin pump. I am always looking for answers as to how this could happen when at 26 months he had only been given breast milk and some baby foods. His name is Jake and he was born on Christmas morning.” Wow. “He is a great kid. If you have any info on type-1, I would love to read it. I always have hope and there is a cure out there. Thanks, Julia.”

Wow, Julia. Gosh. If any of you listeners have any help that you can give to Julia and her type-1 diabetic son… I know type-2 diabetes is more manageable, but those are mostly situations and issues with people obviously older than 26 months old. I would go to Gabriel Cousens’ website. His book is called There Is A Cure For Diabetes and his website is TreeOfLife.NU and he has a lot of great information on diabetes.

I suspect that there could be some energetic things you could do, Julia. I’m thinking like the Rife machine. If you go to ExtremeHealthRadio.com/Frequency, there is a Rife machine that you might want to look at, as well as I would contact Dr. Gerald Smith. We did an interview with Dr. Gerald Smith. You can get all the shows from ExtremeHealthRadio.com/Live and Dr. Gerald Smith was someone who we interviewed a few months into our program starting, so it’s at the very beginning, but you can search for him and he has some extensive work that he’s done with Rife machines.

I would also look into… What is her name? I forget what her name is. Oh, she did a Rife frequency… Oh, I can’t remember her name. I’m sorry. What is her name? Not Estaryia Venus. It was… Sorry, I’m drawing a blank here. I can’t remember the name of the lady that we interviewed. But she does a whole thing on frequencies and I suspect that you might be able to get some things done with your son, Jake, using some energetic frequencies or energetic medicine.

You may want to call Chris Kehler. We did a few shows with him. You can listen to those. He’s a little bit more out there, but he does a lot of energetic work and you can check out his website at ChrisKehler.net. If you are more inclined to these types of energetic frequency type work practitioners, you might want to check into his work because at 26 months old, I’m guessing this is something that has been passed to him, either genetically or as some kind of miasm or something. Obviously, your son hasn’t been damaging his body, like most adults have that causes their health issues, so this is something that is a bit deeper and that’s why I’m thinking energetic medicine could help him. So I know we’ve got a bunch of shows on energetic medicine. You may want to look into those as well. But that’s what I would do, and check out TreeOfLife.NU for that.

And you also might want to check out a guy named Dr. Richard Massey who we’re going to have on our show. He was a former gas-passer. He was the guy… He would be… What do they call them? The guy that would inject you with whatever chemicals that would make you go to sleep for surgery? I forget what they call that. There is a term for that. There is an app for that. But I can’t figure out anything else that would help. So I would contact Richard Massey and his email is [email protected], Julia. You might want to check into him. He’s really a cutting-edge guy, so I would check that out.

Joyce writes in “I have an Urban Rebounder and love it. I find that I burn the same amount of calories in half the time as I used to. Great information. Thank you.” So she is responding to our post that we did on the benefits of rebounding. So thanks, Joyce. Yeah, we love the rebounder. Love, love, love that rebounder. It’s really, really… I think it’s one of the best exercises you can do. To be honest, I think that it’s better than… I mean I guess it’s just different. You’re not going to build muscle on it, but you’re going to give yourself an incredible cardiovascular exercise. You’re going to exercise every cell in your body. No other exercise can exercise every single cell of your body. No other exercise exercises your internal organs. So rebounding is… I mean it’s not going to take the place of lifting weights, in my opinion, because of the fact you’re not going to build bone density and bone muscle like that. You will build bone density doing a rebounder, but it’s more important, I think, than running or something like that. It’s one of the most incredible exercises you could ever do. And there is nothing like… I don’t know if you’ve ever tried this, but there is nothing like rebounding first thing in the morning, especially on a Bellicon. If you rebound first thing in the morning, it gives you these endorphins and this high that you have never felt before. It’s a crazy, weird feeling, but it’s really, really an amazing feeling. So I would look into rebounding if you haven’t added that to your regime.

And let’s see here. I have lots of stuff going on here. Let’s see here. What else do we have? We have another email from Matthew saying, “Thanks, Justin. You have a great thing going on. Each guest intrigues me. I’ve signed up for your newsletter and also subscribed to your YouTube channel. Thank you, Matthew.” Yeah, Matthew wrote in and was asking about some questions, initially. He says, “I’m looking at the BioMat, which seems very expensive. They seem a lot like Earthing or Grounding products, as they both tout negative ions. Have you experimented with the Earthing sheets as compared to the BioMat? Earthing stuff seems so much cheaper for the benefits, but I was wondering if you’ve experienced both. I am just trying to make a good purchase as I have a wife that is way skeptical about any of the products and I just want to get one where she will see the benefits. Thank you for your time.”

So I wrote him back and I just basically said, “Matt, if you’re looking to kind of convince someone, I’d get the BioMat and I’m just saying that because she’s going to be able to lay on that BioMat and she’s going to feel the heat and the warmth from it and that’s going to have a directly immediate benefit and impact on her health. So that’s something that she’s going to feel immediately and so having that warmth and that feeling of warmth like that is going to be very, very noticeable.” And so I’m not saying that just because we sell the BioMat, but I was saying also to Matthew that “If you are looking for strictly on price, I’d go with the Grounding sheets because they are much less expensive.”

But to be honest, we have the BioMat and I have a Grounding pad here, right by the computer, and to be honest, I don’t feel anything on it. They say the BioMat, you’re grounded on that too. But to be honest, I don’t feel any different. I’m sure if I got some testing done, which we’re going to start doing soon, we would notice and see a lot of different readings going on from the tri-field meter and things like that, but I don’t feel any difference. So if you’re looking to kind of convince someone like that, I would get the BioMat because she’s going to be able to feel the heat immediately. And plus, not only do you get the negative ions with the BioMat, but you also get the far infrared light and you’re not going to get that with the Grounding sheets. The Grounding sheets are merely going to give you the negative ions as well, just like the BioMat, but the Grounding sheets aren’t going to give you the far infrared light that helps to penetrate the body and the skin and it helps to create a detoxification effect in all of your cells, four to six inches deep into the body. So I would look into the BioMat first, but like I said, if you’re looking purely for cost and the effect on your wife doesn’t matter, get the Grounding sheets.
