What does it mean to be a protester in 2020? With all that has happened this year, where do you find yourself? 

In today’s political climate we’re witnessing plenty of protesting — there is indeed much to protest. But some Christians believe protesting is sinful, that it’s only something that young, uneducated, unemployed, liberal fools do just for the sake of causing trouble.

The term ‘protester’ invokes strong opinions depending on whom you talk to and in what context. The word can invoke feelings of irritation, annoyance, and even anger. Like anything, protesting can be used for ugly and horrific purposes, and it’s not meant to inspire — or be motivated by — hate, rage, violence, and vengeance.

This past week has been the toughest of the year, as my grandfather on my mother's side passed away on October 30, 2020 in Beijing. Going through loss in general is tough, but during a pandemic can be even harder. I hope my experiences and tips help guide you through whatever you're going through, and that we stop taking moments and people for granted.

Never heard of toxic productivity? Me neither! But I'll bet you've heard of the hustle culture and workaholism! I wanted to share today on this topic of unhealthy and extreme obsession around productivity, as I've felt I've been so guilty of it throughout quarantine! Whether I was in a job or not, I struggled to feel "productive" and worked so hard to, that sometimes I'd just send myself into a pool of self-pity. It's easy to equate your self-worth to productivity, especially when your job (and paycheck) depends on it!
