As the year comes to a close, I think it's important to reflect on lessons learned. I'm not talking about the things that you should be doing to take care of your referral sources or how to identify your referral sources—I've spoken in depth about that practical stuff plenty of times in previous episodes. Instead, I will be sharing four reflections on referral lessons learned.

When I am preparing myself and my business for the coming year, I prefer a strategy that holds me accountable with a focus on the why and an action plan to make it happen. In this episode, I will be sharing how I prep for every new year and the process that I teach others so that they can do the same.

This means that when we are focusing on getting referrals, we should also be considering giving them—not to everyone you work with, but at least a few individuals that you truly believe deserve it. This begs the question: do you know how to give referrals the proper way? Listen in to find out!
