Saturday Morning with Jack Tame

Resident film critic and master of puns Darren Bevan joins Jack Tame to discuss three new movie releases, including Ben Affleck action thriller The Accountant, Mel Gibson-directed war movie Hacksaw Ridge, and romantic weepie The Light Between Oceans.

Kevin Milne has been reading British magazine The Oldie, and joined Jack Tame this morning to share some of his recommendations for eccentric gift ideas for Christmas.

Jack Tame is back in New York ahead of the United States presidential election early next week.

He hit the streets outside Trump Tower in Manhattan, and asked some folks what they thought was going to happen. Here are their thoughts.

Catherine Raynes joins Jack Tame to discuss two books: Working Class Boy by Jimmy Barnes, and Lilac Gils by Martha Hall.

Allan Scott is a pioneer of the New Zealand wine industry and success story of classic Kiwi can-do attitude.

His name appears on more than 1.5 million bottles of wine sold every year globally, and now it appears on a book about his life.

Allan joined Jack Tame this morning to discuss his story.

Resident film critic Darren Bevan joins Jack Tame to review the new Marvel franchise story Doctor Strange, and neo-western thriller Hell or High Water.

Kevin Milne joined Jack Tame this morning to reveal something about his trip to the Cook Islands which he didn't discuss a few weeks ago: we had a near-death experience, and was only saved thanks to the comfortably couch-like size of a German doctor.

Jack Tame opened his show this morning by discussing the slogans many towns and cities around New Zealand have adopted.

Some have stuck, others are semi-necessary at best, so Jack attempts to rectify Auckland's lack of a decent catchphrase.

Our regular book reviewer Catherine Raynes joins Jack to give her take on Conclave by Robert Harris, and Declared by Brendon McCullum.

Film reviewer Darren Bevan joins Jack Tame to talk the latest in movies, covering the flimsy Jack Reacher - Never Go Back, Ouija: Origin of Evil and Alice Through the Looking Glass.
