Kevin Milne talks with Jack Tame about watching teenage swimmers crying their eyes out, distraught at falling short of the mark, at the New Zealand Age Group Swimming Championships this week in Wellington. He's urging parents and coaches to remind these talented teens sport should be fun.

Jack Tame ponders the ANZAC effort and how Kiwis so well commemorate those who left for distant lands and distant trenches and never came home.

This week the United Nations is hosting the largest drug summit in a generation.

In 2012, Colombian, Mexican and Guatemalan presidents lobbied for an international UN conference to bring about drug policy reform.

Their hope was that the General Assembly Special Session, or UNGASS, would stimulate new thinking on ways to reverse the political, social and economic wreckage of a failed war on drugs.

It is hoped it will be the turning point for an international drug control system.

This major summit will be attended by world leaders, senior politicians, UN bureaucrats, representatives from a wide range of global and regional networks, and the very broadest range of citizens groups and NGOs.

New Zealand has sent a delegation, lead by Associate Health Minister Peter Dunne and includes Ross Bell, the Executive Director of the New Zealand Drug Foundation.

Kevin Milne joins Jack Tame this week to discuss the contentious issue of dog attacks and what to do about them.

Jack Tame opens his show this week by talking about how easy it used to be to collect and listen to music, whether cassette or CD. Now, with all the streaming services available, it's become a bit complicated.

Jack Tame spoke with Andrew Dickens about Zayn Malick's latest album.
