Two new Seahawks players joined veteran Tyler Lockett in meeting with Seattle media during Seahawks minicamp last week. Robert Nkemdiche talked about some of the things he's learned through his time in the NFL and his thoughts on sitting out the 2020 season. Gerald Everett noted how he can help players with any insight he brings to the new Seahawks offense. Finally Tyler Lockett talked about his role as the NFLPA representative and how tempo, picking up yards after the catch, and a greater freedom in running routes all play into the Shane Waldron offense.

The Seahawks began minicamp this week with most players reporting. Jamal Adams and Chris Carson were absent, but Pete Carroll said each one had a family-related excuse. Quandre Diggs spoke about being in the league for seven years and his leadership style he's developed. Carroll said that even if Adams would have been available this week, he wouldn't have been doing any work on the field as he's recovering from offseason surgeries. Will Dissly responded to questions about new offensive coordinator Shane Waldron and how he's looking forward to doing work in the run game.

How do the Seattle Seahawks rank in the offensive trenches when compared to the rest of the NFC West? We revisit the trade that brought Trent Williams to the 49ers and reflect on just how many of the top offensive linemen in the division are in their 30s. While the NFC West has talent on the outside of the offensive line, the interior is a different situation. Tight end is similar with one player at the top and a difficult time trying to find the next best player who stands out in the division. Tune in late in the show as Phil brings back his "Pain Games" as we look at some either/or style scenarios for what we want to see from our Seahawks.

For the first time this offseason, Russell Wilson responded to questions from the Seattle media about comments he made going all the way back to February and trade rumors that surrounded him in the following months. Stacy Rost of 710 ESPN joins the show to talk about the comments that sparked the offseason discussion and the tweet from Wilson's agent that offered four destinations where he could possible approve a trade. But there was a considerable 'typo' that may have led to Wilson having discussions with top members of the Seahawks front office.

D.J. Reed and Bobby Wagner were the first two players to address Seattle area media on Thursday at OTAs. Reed talked about his relationship with Ahkello Witherspoon in San Francisco and teaming up in Seattle. Bobby Wagner talked about what went into the decision by veterans to come into OTAs ahead of the mandatory minicamp as well as his thoughts about Russell Wilson trade talks in the offseason. Wilson wanted to make sure it was clear that he did not request a trade from Seattle, but did corroborate his agent's release of four teams he was willing to possibly accept a trade. He also talked about his work this offseason with Shane Waldron and his own expectations for the upcoming season.

Organized team activities continue for the Seahawks this week and Russell Wilson was among the veterans who arrived on Tuesday. The quarterback didn't make an appearance on the podium yet, but DK Metcalf was there to represent the Seahawks offense. After the Seahawks missed out on potentially trading for Julio Jones, he had a message for the team's Week 2 opponent. On a down note, Jordyn Brooks talked about K.J. Wright as if he's not coming back to the team. Closing on a positive, Michael Dickson talked about what he changed heading into 2020 that helped him bounce back from a disappointing 2019 season and it ultimately earned him a contract extension this week.
