  • 3 IN, 3 OUT: Seahawks draft Dash, the Sooner and a Stonecutter
The Seahawks made some uncharacteristic decisions when it came to their three draft selections. Even the idea of coming out of the draft with only three picks was uncharacteristic for John Schneider. In this week's show we talked about some of the other things we learned about the D'Wayne Eskridge pick since talking to EJ Snyder on last week's show and where he falls on the "Tyler Lockett scale" of wide receiver. Pete Carroll is known for starting tall corners with long arms, but went in the opposite direction with Tre Brown and Seattle has long been known for preferring run blocking offensive linemen. Stone Forsythe is the opposite, but looking back at some of his games it may not be as terrible as some people have portrayed.

  • Pete Carroll and John Schneider discuss the Seahawks 2021 Draft Class
The Seattle Seahawks left themselves with only three picks in the draft after making trades for Jamal Adams and Gabe Jackson. Ultimately, they only made two swaps over the three days and still finished with only three picks, the smallest draft class in franchise history. Pete Carroll and John Schneider met with the media after the draft and talked about their three picks, a position swap for Damien Lewis, and the potential for Richard Sherman to return to the Seahawks.

  • OT Stone Forsythe, Seahawks 6th Round Pick, Press Conference Highlights
The Seattle Seahawks make history with the smallest draft class in franchise history. Maybe history is on their side though. The previous two classes of only five picks (1994 and 1997) each had a Hall of Fame offensive linemen selected. While that may be setting the bar too high for Florida tackle Stone Forsythe, the Seahawks were intrigued enough to pair their final two picks to make a move up in the sixth round to close out their 2021 NFL Draft class.

  • CB Tre Brown, Seahawks 4th Round Pick, Press Conference Highlights
The Seahawks made their first draft move ahead of their fourth round selection, moving back in a trade with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They added a sixth round pick and were able to take Oklahoma cornerback Tre Brown. While Brown lacks the size of what we've come to expect from a prototypical Seahawks cornerback, Pete Carroll said the team drafted Brown with the expectation for him to play outside rather than nickel.

  • Draft Reaction: Seahawks trade up for Florida OT Stone Forsythe
The Seattle Seahawks waited until their third and final pick of the draft to take a player on the offensive line. EJ Snyder joins the show to talk about how Forsythe has excelled in college as a pass blocker. But what is the catch? It turns out that his ability to block in the run game is what dropped him all the way to the sixth round. Can Duane Brown and Hall of Fame guard Steve Hutchinson coach him up to be a future starting left tackle? If they can, this pick provides a huge value for the Seahawks.

  • WR D'Wayne Eskridge, Seahawks 2nd Round Pick, Press Conference Highlights
Seattle Seahawks fans have something in common with former Western Michigan wide receiver D’Wayne Eskridge. We both had to wait for about the same amount of time for the pick we were most interested in on Friday to be announced. Eskridge spoke to the media and talked about his ability to play on offense, defense and special teams. He also addressed his ability to play everywhere on the line and not just in the slot.

  • Draft Reaction: CB Tre Brown of Oklahoma goes to Seattle in Round 4
The Seattle Seahawks definitely have a type when it comes to looking for players at outside corner. We may get some indications from Brown's press conference or Pete Carroll and John Schneider after Day 3. EJ Snyder joins the show as we discuss how Seattle's thoughts on outside corner could be evolving after moving DJ Reed into the starting role last season and considering some of the receivers they routinely have to face within the division. Brown was an outstanding corner in college especially when playing man and also played press effectively. He also has the ability to make an impact playing special teams.

  • 3 IN, 3 OUT: Reacting to Day 1 and 2 of the NFL Draft
The Seattle Seahawks sat out Day 1 of the NFL Draft, but we saw the rival San Francisco 49ers take the 3rd quarterback off the board with Trey Lance. We react to that selection and talk about the news surrounding Aaron Rodgers the first day. We broadcast this episode live via Locker Room leading up to the Seahawks pick in the second round of the draft. Would you like to join a future show? • Draft Reaction: Seahawks stay put, take WR D’Wayne Eskridge in the 2nd round
Rather than trade back to get more picks in this draft, the Seattle Seahawks stayed at 56 and took D’Wayne Eskridge out of Western Michigan. If you take a look at some of the highlights up at Field Gulls you'll see the kind of speed the Seahawks love to see at wide receiver. He's also a player who has the ability at kick returner that Seattle fans have been looking for reminiscent of what Tyler Lockett did early on in his career. Eskridge was one of the players Tony Pauline brought up in the interview earlier this week if the Seahawks decided not to take an offensive lineman or cornerback. EJ talks about some of the other players who were still on the board and where the Seahawks could look to go with their next pick.

  • Carroll and Schneider talk draft and address the offseason drama
Pete Carroll and John Schneider traditionally meet with the media ahead of the draft and this game the two their first opportunity to the Russell Wilson offseason saga. Is was also the first time we've heard from them after the hiring of Shane Waldron. How are they adjusting to a virtual offseason program with a new offensive coordinator and how much of the offense will carry over from previous years? Coach Carroll also talks about the work the team has done on the defensive line this offseason, the reaction to Aldon Smith's legal issues, and an update on last year's 2nd round pick. Plus, Pete teased at least one upcoming signing. Could it be K.J. Wright?
