Today, we have the honor of sitting down with Stacy Chapin as she bravely shares her journey through the unimaginable loss of her son, Ethan Chapin, after the tragic University of Idaho murders. To begin, Stacy talks about Ethan’s beautiful personality and life, reflecting on what it was like raising triplets. She goes on to explain the current status of the trial a year and a half later and shares what it’s like not knowing anything more than the public knows about the investigation. Stacy then describes her grief journey and how her family is getting through it together, all while being the center of nationwide media coverage. She offers valuable insight on what to say and what not to say to someone grieving and describes some of the ways they have kept Ethan’s memory alive. Finally, Stacy shares the therapeutic process of writing her book “The Boy Who Wore Blue” and explains her hope for the Ethan's Smile Foundation. We want to thank Stacy for her openness, strength, and vulnerability in sharing Ethan’s and her family’s story with us all.
