  • How to brag about yourself without bragging

Be so good that your actions speak for you, and that your reputation is a reflection of your actions. That's step 1. But step 2 is the accelerant. It can be hard, frustrating, and even counterproductive to play the humble position all the time.

On this podcast Dr. Sean and Cody Ringle dive into exactly how Dr. Sean is thinking about amplifying his own message for Active Life, and what actions he's already taking.

  • How to tell people the truth without using flowery language that softens it

"Does this dress look good on me?"

"No. It hugs you in the wrong spots and hides too many of your best features, put it back on the rack."

That's how conversations go down in Dr. Sean's household. And that marriage has never been stronger.

On today's episode Dr. Sean and Cody don't talk about dress fits at all. They're talking straight talk, politics, comedy, and authenticity.

If you struggle to tell people the truth because you feel like you're walking on eggshells around them and you're afraid to say the wrong thing, definitely tune into this episode.

  • Overcoming knee surgeries to live life without compromise, Christy Campbell | Active Life Podcast Ep 219

Christy tore her ACL, and while that's normally an injury people recover from fairly mundanely, Christy's surgeon made a mistake, twice.

Due to the damage done to her knee Christy found herself constantly compensating for her injury, both physically and mentally. She would introduce herself, and immediately alert others of her knee issue so as to remove the possibility that they thought she was healthy and functioning at her best, she needed them to know why she limped, why she couldn't play sports well anymore, and that this is not her best self.

On this episode you will learn about what changed for Christy when she met Dr Sean and decided to work with Active Life five and a half years ago.

    OU will learn
