By popular request, I’m bringing back a clinical topic! 🌟
This week I’m giving out my BEST tips on how to support and connect with your patients with blood sugar dysregulation.
When you take a walk through a mall or look down the sidewalks of a crowded street, it becomes very obvious that Americans have a huuuuugeee blood sugar issue going on. Some estimates show 30-35% of people have difficulty maintaining normal glucose levels. And it's no wonder, given the Standard American Diet. 🍭
When we chat with patients about getting their blood sugar under control, their panic is palpable: “Will I have to eat ‘healthy food’ all the time?”, “Can I still have bread once in a while?”, “Do I have to give up all the foods I love?”
Well, I have a few pieces of advice on how to handle these questions and get your patients fully on board with their blood sugar issues. Cuz we definitely don’t want to overwhelm them with 3,572 different rules about their food. 📕
I’ll show you how to communicate with them in a way that leaves them feeling in control, helps you get what you want, and ends up being a win-win for everyone.
So, tune in today to hear how I work with blood sugar patients, and let’s start building stronger connections and providing stellar support!
