Tracy Hermes is the author of Wizardly Wit and Wisdom and a deliberate creator guided by divine inspiration. She leads, loves, uplifts others, and lives a purposeful life. Tracy began her healing journey at 20 years old when she realized that the thoughts, feelings, and beliefs about herself could change. She decided to define a vision of the future rather than who she thought she was.
Today, Tracy and I have an in-depth conversation about how she got to a place of self-acceptance, found self-love to create, and now shares her gifts and light with the rest of the world. Tracy also illustrates why she considers herself a “deliberate creator,” details the power of habits — which Tracy says is the key to success — and shares tips for finding gratitude in everything, especially when life gets hard.
This is an emotional episode and I am so grateful to share Tracy’s message with the world. There’s a beautiful life already living inside of you, and I hope this episode serves as a reminder that you are enough as you are.
IN THIS EPISODE, WE TALK ABOUT:
- (3:56) Tracy’s wisdom about habits and the secret to success
- (6:25) Tracy’s tip for finding gratitude in everything
- (11:11) Tracy’s journey of self-love
- (17:02) The process of becoming a deliberate creator
- (23:40) Tracy’s purpose to love herself and liberate others

My right-hand woman and ChIef Marketing Officer, Brooke Dumas, is back on the podcast to have a candid chat with me about the metaphysical side of fitness and health, various ways to implement meditation (hike!), and the pendulum swing that occurs as people begin their spiritual journey and deconstruct beliefs.
We also discuss deep layers around judgment, including my personal experience with (not) drinking alcohol, and Brooke asks a really important question about being disconnected from your own voice and beliefs, and how to use it to speak on something you’re passionate about. Listen to the end of the episode to hear one of mine — it really fires me up!
IN THIS EPISODE, WE TALK ABOUT:
- (1:32) My start in fitness and the belief that fitness goes beyond nutrition
- (4:50) How life is meditation and meditation is presence
- (11:11) The pendulum swing of conditioning, beliefs, and family of origin
- (17:02) How my judgment toward alcohol was connected to many other things
- (19:55) My desire for an equilibrium with men and women empowerment

Today I’m coaching a caller who is working through betrayal and lack of trust with a family member and is seeking ways to release the anger, frustration, and pain. We often think that forgiveness means we are somehow saying what happened is okay. I help this caller reframe forgiveness as energetically detaching from the negativity of the situation in order to create a new portal toward healing.
I also share some tactics to help find forgiveness, such as acknowledging our humanity in order to see someone else’s humanity. This isn’t an easy or quick solution, but it does start to guide us toward our humanness and open us up to the idea of forgiveness. I recommend this caller to drop into a meditation to consistently work through triggers and stuck emotion. As a bonus, I share my full forgiveness visualization meditation at the end of our call.
Our work affects the healing in our body. When we release what doesn’t serve us, we free ourselves from the negative energetic connection and can then find new, healthy places to send that energy in support of a higher version of ourselves.
IN THIS EPISODE, WE TALK ABOUT:
- (4:26) The trap of believing forgiveness means being okay with a situation
- (7:32) How to see acknowledge our humanity to see another’s humanity
- (10:35) Why the work is about lessening the energy toward what caused us pain
- (14:46) A 10-minute forgiveness visualization meditation

Today, I’m guiding two lovely women looking to find clarity in their next steps. My first caller is close to retirement but feels more energized than ever to serve. She is certain that she wants to continue serving her purpose and continue sharing knowledge throughout schools in support of young girls — but societal conditioning says differently. So what is her inner voice saying in response? I encourage her to trust her inner knowing and the guidance of her “Tinkerbell” manifestation source.
My second caller is trying to navigate her path after a near-death experience. She feels called by a higher power to help people but is looking for assurance that her path forward is the correct one. I affirm the fact that she is here for a significant purpose and that she already knows what she needs to do. I set up a virtual “mic stand” for my client and give her an opportunity to deliver her message to the world. What does she have to say?
Whether you are ready for a transition or struggling to get back up, your perspective is power. The questions you have hold answers inside of you, all you need to do is listen and trust.
IN THIS EPISODE, WE TALK ABOUT:
- (2:23) How to trust when your desires differ from others around you
- (4:04) Societal expectation about age and life’s timeline
- (6:02) Advice for finding and honoring your truth
- (11:14) How to know if you are on the right path when called to help others
- (13:05) Why there’s power in sharing your story with the world

Today, I’m sharing my thoughts on our desire to be seen, known, and loved. We often feed this desire by seeking validation from external sources, but doing this forces us to be fake. True fulfillment, peace, success, and everlasting joy lie in understanding and accepting who you are apart from external achievements or appearances. In this episode, I encourage you to embrace love from your creator, follow the light of your inner power, and be mindful of your motivations. Your worth is inherent, and you are enough just as you are.
IN THIS EPISODE, WE TALK ABOUT:
- (1:48) We have been taught to be fake
- (4:12) The dark energy that is tied to seeking validation from external sources
- (6:21) Ways to embrace the joy and contentment of being loved by a higher power
- (10:43) Being mindful of where your motivations and intentions stem from
