In this episode, I am sharing some of my favorite post bleed practices to implement on the last day of your bleeding phase (or the first day you start spotting if you have spotting at the end of your period). Using these nourishing & blood circulating practices will help to ensure that all of the blood and tissue is completely cleared out of your system. This means that you are setting yourself up for a more smooth and efficient menstrual cycle for the next cycle.

I like to view the cycle as a mini-postpartum phase. It is essential that we rest, eat warming foods and incorporate practices that facilitate circulation & healing in our wombs.

Many women (and men) are intimidated by using this method for birth control. I get it. I was also taught that women could get pregnant every single day of the cycle as well. It can be really tough to accept that we have been misled for SO LONG! Most women are only fertile for 6 days of the month. When we can identify when we are and are not fertile, we are empowered to make decisions about how we will or will not engage sexually based on our intentions for pregnancy.
