There’s so much hate in our world, especially when the conversation turns to race and inequality for non-white people. In this episode, I was joined by an amazing guest, Kiné Corder to discuss this and how we can render better approaches to race. Kiné is a Black therapist who shares her own experiences of being a Black woman in American society. She shares a story about finding out her brother’s experience as a Black man, why many conversations about race are ineffective and how we need more empathy. Kiné shares great tips about becoming curious about other people and putting your focus on love instead of being “anti” anything.
About Kiné Corder:
Kiné Corder is a National Certified Counselor and Clinical Hypnotherapist. She's also the CEO of Presidential Lifestyle, a wellness company focused on wealth in all of its forms. As a former Morgan Stanley financial advisor, Kiné realized that high achieving men needed help with more than just stock picks and portfolios. They were stressed out by the idea of reaching the American Dream. In 2014, she made the shift to therapy and has become the world's #1 Clinical Hypnotherapist specializing in stress and anger management. Her work today encompasses helping men, and their teenage children, unlock their subconscious beliefs around love and money so they can feel at ease and at peace creating a life of meaning.
