Today I'm sharing with you a recording of my recent instagram live (I'm @perfectionismproject on Instagram). I wanted to talk about procrasti-learning because I hear from people all the time that they think they are procrasti-learning if they invest in a course or program before they've implemented all of the free advice they've learned. And this simply isn't the case!In this episode I talk about 5 of the reasons perfectionists procrasti-learn as well as 5 signs that you're procrasti-learning and what to do instead. I hope you enjoy this episode and if you did, please take a screenshot and tag me on Instagram (as always).

In this episode I'm talking with Aditi Bhattacharya about all things Human Design and perfectionism for Projectors and Reflectors. Aditi and I are both Projectors and we geek out about how to get out of your own way - and succeed in business - as a Projector.
Note: This is a follow on from Episode 301 on how I'm personally using Human Design to get out of my own way. That episode covers some basics about Human Design and how to find yours. If you haven't listened to that episode yet I recommend tuning into that one first.
Adit (a 4/6 Splenic Projector) is a spiritual and energetic business coach, specialising in conscious manifestation and Human Design. I love sharing anything that will help you better understand yourself on this podcast - this is because the more you understand yourself, the better you're able to get out of your own way in your business. Which is why I've decided to do a series of episodes on Human Design.
In this episode I'm sharing what I understand Human Design to be, how I've personally used Human Design to help me work in the way that works best and what to expect from my upcoming episodes on Human Design (Episode 302 and 303).
And in case you're wondering, I'm a 2/4 Emotional Projector!

When it gets to the end of the year, we perfectionists tend to have a very all-or-nothing approach. We either check out completely because we feel so ashamed we didn't make progress towards our goals or we put so much pressure on ourselves to be productive in these final weeks that we do a whole lot of busy work or don't get anything done at all.
What I'm sharing in this episode is 3 things you can do to finish the year strong and really build up some extra self-trust and get yourself in a great position to hit the ground running next year. These are things that won't take a lot of time to do but I recommend doing all three of them before the end of the year.
Tune in to learn what they are and how to go about them.

Overthinking is something that almost all perfectionists find themselves doing - so I thought it'd be the perfect topic to kick off my new Instagram live series called Get Out Of Your Own Way.
Tune in to listen to the replay recording and learn why perfectionists overthink as well as how to stop overthinking!
I'll be going live every Wednesday at 9am AEST on Instagram (I'm @perfectionismproject) for at least the remainder of 2021 to share practical tips and advice to help you get out of your own way. This converts to Tuesday afternoon if you're in the United States or late Tuesday evening if you're in the UK or Europe.
I will always share a countdown timer on Instagram that'll notify you of the start time so you can be there live. But if you're wanting to convert it into your timezone, I recommend converting 9am 'Brisbane time' into your timezone - and don't forget I'm a day ahead!

In this episode I'm interviewing Steph Taylor on launching and podcasting as a perfectionist.
Steph is a digital product launch strategist for business owners who are tired of selling services and want to scale with their first digital offer. Whether it's starting a podcast or selling a digital course, Steph helps her students reach more people, grow their audience and become the go-to in their industry. She's host of the Socialette podcast, with over 1 million downloads to date, and has taught more than 100,000 entrepreneurs how to launch their own podcasts and digital products.
I know you're going to appreciate Steph's honesty and vulnerability as she talks about the ups and downs of her own business journey, including what came up for her when she quickly hit a million dollars in revenue in 2020.
If launching is part of your business model or you've been thinking about starting a podcast (or have already gotten started) - you're going to love this episode with Steph Taylor.

I recently sent out a Perfectionist Power-Up that resonated with a lot of my email subscribers. It said: "Maybe your follow through problem is actually a planning problem". So I wanted to record an episode to help you figure out whether this is what's going on for you.
There are a lot of things we can do to help us follow through with our plans consistently. I share many of them on this podcast! But first it's incredibly important to look at the plans you're trying to follow through on. Are they making your perfectionist mindset work for you or against you? Are your plans setting you up for success or are they setting you up for failure? I dive into this and more in the episode.

I felt inspired to share a story that I heard on another podcast. This story resonated with me deeply and is something I want to share with you because, as perfectionists, we tend to not recognise how our imperfections help others. We only see the progress we're not making, we judge ourselves harshly, beat ourselves etc.
When I heard this story, it gave me a sense of freedom to just show up as myself without it being polished or perfect. I still have my own journey and struggles with my perfectionism handbrake and this story was heart-warming and a relief to hear. Tune in to hear the story of the 'leaky bucket' and what it means for you in your business.

I honestly put off recording this episode as it felt like too many things had happened over the last few months for me to give an accurate picture of what's been going on behind the scenes. It's hard enough as it is to capture one month - let alone four.
But while Lydia was having a nap in the carrier, I felt inspired to get out my microphone and chat about the last 4 months. In the episode I share Lydia's birth story, my postpartum recovery journey, why I've felt guilty, how I've navigated returning to work and why I'm getting back into the mindset and manifestation side of business while learning more about Human Design.
