This week I get to sit with the beautiful Lisa Murrin. Lisa is currently in her third pregnancy, expecting her 4th boy under 4 years.  Prior to this pregnancy Lisa shares her miscarriage journey and how it impacted her and her family. Lisa shares the tragic passing of her young brother Lawrence when he was an infant, how therapy helped her to understand the manifestation of this huge loss and what life is like now in healing.

Lisa is open, warm, friendly and articulate in her story sharing. Early this week I got to connect with the gorgeous, courageous, fun, sassy Lynsey Bennett. Lynsey is currently in Mexico undergoing intensive treatment for Terminal Cervical Cancer, being just 32 years and having her two daughters this is an imaginable situation to find herself in. 

In this podcast we acknowledge Lynsey’s diagnosis and her treatment in Mexico. We also focus on: Who is Lynsey Bennett? Lynsey does not let her cancer diagnosis define her and so we get to know her a little bit more. We discuss the important relationships in Lynsey’s life, we share humor and stories of parenting, we share dreams and their meanings in the passing of Lynsey’s late mam. 

We talk about how powerful we are as humans, we talk about fears and where Lynsey’s strength, acceptance and determination brings her peace for when she may no longer be here with her beautiful girls. 

After recording this podcast, I felt completely uplifted, we laugh a lot, Lynsey’s outlook on life is very inspiring and her story Is one that will touch hearts everywhere.

In my final episode of The Power Of You Season 1 I got to speak with the positive, uplifting and refreshing Ciaran Byrne. Ciaran sums up for me what this podcast is about. Ciaran is grounded, funny, genuine, real and has an amazing understanding of a good life even in the face of challenges. I had heard Ciaran's cancer diagnosis journey on The Good Glow Podcast and I was blown away by his positive mental attitude, at a time when he was facing such a scary diagnosis. Today we have a friendly chat about relationships, the power of a healthy loving relationship, the power of family support, self care , passions in life, covid and much more.
