In today's episode of The Running Hub podcast, we discuss our goals for the Spring which includes a half marathon. We share what race we are aiming for, our targets and how we're going to achieve them,.
We also dig a bit deeper into what you can also do to aim for a faster half marathon this year.
There's a few things that got brought up for discussion. We're edging closer to the 200 mark for the podcast - should we do anything to celebrate? B-Skips, should we do a mini series until coach Katie can do them? Should coach Katie bake mini egg cookies for the parkrun meet up in Easter? Merch Line? Should we have our own jumpers in the future?

parkrun last week announced last week that they were removing competitive stats and data from their website.
Is this an inclusivity issue or is this around the gender debate in sport which has been coming up recently?
We invited Running Hub parkrun enthusiast Sammy onto the podcast to discuss the changes and how this impacts runners, what our thoughts are and what parkrun means to us.
Let us know what you think?
After we recorded this episode, parkrun also released this statement - https://www.parkrun.com/blog/news/2024/02/14/an-open-letter-from-russ-jefferys-ceo-parkrun-global/
