It might all look happy and confident on the surface, but the reality is, social media (including Fetlife!) isn’t the best place for our self esteem. I’m not telling anyone to stop using these platforms - I actually think they do a lot of good as well, but when scrolling your feed, it’s important to be aware of how it’s affecting you.

In this episode I talk about my journey with Age Play. This is one of the more divisive kinks in BDSM and it was a form of play I used to be very uncomfortable with. Monogamy is something most couples never really discuss. It is generally assumed when we enter a relationship, it will be monogamous, and that is that. After all, monogamy is the only way to show true emotional commitment to someone… right? Well I strongly disagree.

Monogamy - when agreed to for the right reasons - can be perfectly healthy. Though this is often not the case. I have frequently seen monogamy being used to justify possessive and controlling behaviour, disguising jealousy as passion, and promoting shame and secrecy in relationships.
