Knowing and understanding your customers is a crucial element to any product-based businesses success.

Really having a good understanding of who your best customers are and how you can nurture them even more will have a big impact on your customer LTV.

Use your data, review reports and make sure you understand who they are, what their needs are and how you can support them even more.

Let's talk Marketing.  Now I hear all the time that instagram engagement  is down or algorithm has gone to 💩 or not quite where it used to be.  Guess what. Are you putting up barriers to buying without even realising it?

I am sure you have heard the call.  Build your email list.

It is something you own.  You are in control.

Unlike your Instagram following or Facebook audience.  Don't be a slave to the algorithm.

Send emails instead (or as well 😀).  Email marketing gets you an average of $42 in sales for every $1 spent!! Now that is a good ROI -right?

And customers want to hear from you!!

BUT you need a list for that to actually work.  So how do you build a list?

It is harder to have a lead magnet (a reason for people to sign up often a free download for service-based businesses) when you are a product based business.  And not everyone wants to or can afford to offer a 10% discount incentive.

In this episode, I take you through 10 things you should be doing to help you build your email database or customer list. 

And also some ideas on what to create to incentivise that signup!!

So you think you just need Facebook ads and everything will be ok?  Before you start throwing money at an ads manager have you done all these things in your business first?

Today I am listing out 5 things you should know, be doing, or have set up in your product-based business or e-commerce store before spending a cent on any ads.

These are things that every eCommerce business owner should be doing.  It is worth getting someone to help you with them or you DIY'ing these things so that every dollar you do spend on facebook (or Instagram) ads is going to give you a really good ROI (return on investment).

Set these up or understand these aspects and then you can go ahead and spend up (I love Facebook ads by the way but only when you are ready!!).
