Joining us this week on Founder Files is Marie Kouadio Amouzame and Alice Lin Glover, co-founders of Eadem, a clean beauty brand designed with the unique needs of melanin-rich skin in mind. Marie and Alice are friends who met while working at Google, branding some of the world’s most high-profile apps. After realizing they had a mutual love of skincare that involved frequently swapping product knowledge, it became apparent there was a gap in the market for more inclusive, clean beauty. So together they set out to build Eadem, a brand pioneering what they call “Smart Melanin Beauty”—a combination of science-backed ingredients and heritage botanicals that effectively and gently care for skin of color.
