"Sometimes the strength of motherhood is greater than natural laws." – Barbara Kingsolver
In this episode, Heather and I talk about:
Heather is a mom to a wild, curious, charismatic 9 year old son. She became a parent through International adoption where she journeyed to Russia to bring home her son. Her kiddo has been demonstrating big behaviours since he was very small. In the process of getting diagnosis and treatment for his dysregulation she has uncovered a wealth of knowledge, tools and experiences that she would like to pay forward and share with other moms that have kiddos that are differently wired. It is a healing journey for both of us that continues to unfold and evolve. My favourite quote: "Motherhood is about raising and celebrating the child you have, not the child you thought you'd have. Its about understanding he is exactly the person he is supposed to be. And, if you're lucky, he might be the teacher who turns you into the person you're supposed to be"

Tanja Shaw is a health and fitness coach, While she does have some 'letters' after her name – Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, Kinesiologist, and High Performance Coach – her ability to create a shift in her clients was learned through working with hundreds of men and women, as well as through her personal journey. She first started her career as a personal trainer and Kinesiologist in 2004 because she LOVED the science side of fitness and health. She was fascinated by diet plans, workout plans, and 'hacks' to transform a person's body.
