Today, we sit down with Alexandra Keating, founder of Uni, a sustainable, reusable, and recyclable bodycare brand. She shares tips for selling your business, what a competitive process is, what she learned from fundraising, and so much more.
“With Uni, I think, I usually become obsessed with problems. And so I became obsessed that 1/3 of single use plastics comes from the personal care industry. It's a very solvable problem.” - Alexandra Keating

Sarah has spent her career constantly learning new skills—both on the job and off—to further her career. She also mastered learning when it’s time to move on to the next opportunity. Now she’s here to share her story and also her tips and tricks regarding all things social media.
Today, we sit down with Sarah Bugeja, the Vice President of Marketing with Later, the first all-in-one social media scheduler. She shares why she wanted to join Later, advice on affiliate programs, her tips for social media trends, and so much more.
“What kind of came with that was because we weren't hiring roles as people would choose to leave, it also meant if you put your hand up and you wanted to do something, nobody was going to tell you no. And so I got a lot of experience and a lot of autonomy, very early on in my career, that I probably wouldn't have gotten had I been anywhere else. And so I'm very grateful for that.” - Sarah Bugeja

Our Entreprenista of the Year: Arion Long has always been an overachiever; she started college at 15 years old. But one thing that threatened to hold her back was her periods. After going to many gynecologists, she found one that not only listened to her, but told her something that would change the course of her life.
Today, we sit down with Arion Long, CEO and founder of Femly, an eco-friendly and organic feminine care company that disruptively provides organic products in a smart dispenser in restrooms nationwide. She shares what personal reason led her to start Femly, AMAZING fundraising tips, how she built her team, and so much more.
“I realized after going to a doctor that my symptoms were linked directly to chemicals and the period care that I was using. And when I couldn't find an option that was eco friendly and sustainable, I launched Femly to meet demand, but I had no idea what I was doing.” - Arion Long

Carrie’s career path is quite the story: she started in product management and stayed in that for over a decade before switching to marketing and falling in love. After she had been with Copper for a couple years as CMO, she was offered the CEO position and almost turned it down, but she didn’t. Now she’s living and loving what she’s doing.
Today, we sit down with Carrie Shaw, CEO of Copper, an all-in-one CRM tool that we use religiously at Entreprenista. She shares how her background led her to Copper, how she built and facilitates her remote team, how it felt to become CEO, and so much more.
“I got a call from a recruiter and I hopped on the phone with her and she tells me about this opportunity. ‘Oh, it's a great company. It's based in San Francisco, this, that, and the other thing.’ She said ‘it's in the CRM space.’ ‘Oh, great. Who is it?’ She said ‘I'm sure you've never heard of it. It's Copper.’ I said, ‘Not only have I heard of it, I love it. It's just amazing. It's such a great app.’ And so I thought to myself, ‘Wow, this is a product I could really get behind.’” - Carrie Shaw
