In this solocast I talk about relationship building and the factors that go into a high performing team.
Relationship building is important in driving performance rankings, but it is not the top factor. Other capabilities such as taking initiative, displaying integrity, inspiring others, and driving for results have a greater influence on performance rankings.
The number one factor is the ability to establish stretch goals. Building relationships is still important, but these other skills should be prioritized.

In this solocast I talk about Growth.
Growth is a choice, and without a growth plan, we are choosing to decay. Success can breed complacency, so it's important to have a growth plan to continue moving forward. A personal growth plan can include reading books, listening to podcasts, attending courses or seminars, finding mentors or coaches, and giving back by mentoring others.

In this solocast, I talk about the five tactics of high-performing teams based on research from Gallup. The first tactic is having a common purpose, where everyone in the team knows the shared vision and strategy. The second tactic is connection, which involves creating a sense of belonging and maintaining strong relationships within the team. The third tactic is communication, emphasizing the importance of simple, accurate, and succinct communication that is individualized. The fourth tactic is collaboration, which allows for creativity and growth. The final tactic is celebration, where micro and macro wins are acknowledged and rewarded.
