“Osteoporosis is a lifestyle disease. The more you realize that there are many factors, the more you’ll see that your bone health is in your control.” -Debi Robinson
Debi Robinson is a Yoga Therapist and Health Coach who specializes in working with clients with osteoporosis and bone loss. At 51, she had a total hip replacement which gave her the insight and foresight of what it is like to have a body that is weak, broken and gets in the way of you living the life you want to live. She now guides those she works with to transform their bone health through daily movements, a nutrient dense diet and learning to manage stress to stop breakdown in your body and calm your mind.
She is certified to teach Yoga for Osteoporosis. Her focus has been on teaching the tools of yoga therapy to counter the functional loss we experience as we age and especially bone density loss in Osteoporosis. In today’s talk we look at some of the most common causes of osteoporosis that Debi sees, what specific labs she orders to help her clients, what is working, and she even tells us two great bone nourishing seeds we can add to our diet. There is so much we can do to improve our bone health and Debbie inspires us to get started in this interview.

“With gentle consistency, we will be able to rewire our nervous system." -Dr. Aimie Apigian
Dr. Aimie is a Board-Certified Preventive and Addiction Medicine Physician with a Double Masters in Biochemistry and Public Health. She specializes in trauma, attachment and identifying and reversing the effects of stored emotions in the body and on our health. Having personal experience in foster parenting, adopting and then her own chronic fatigue and autoimmune issues, she has discovered that negative life experiences become our biology, not just psychology. Compromising every system in our biology, these stored emotions cause inflammation, digestive issues and contribute to all disease and aging. Stored emotions become the biggest thief to our health, happiness and aliveness without us ever knowing.
A 2-time Summit Host, she is the founder and director of Family Challenge Camps, a weekend intensive for families, and founder and CEO of Trauma Healing Accelerated where she provides education and courses for those wanting to hack their survival systems and accelerate their healing journey from trauma to achieve their best mental and physical health. Her courses include experiential courses for the general public on shifting The Biology of Trauma and a certification coach for those in a healing profession to have more tools for understanding and addressing the Biology of Trauma. In today’s talk we discuss the negative health consequences of stored trauma and steps we can all take to start healing. Make sure to stay until the end when Dr. Aimie takes us through two exercises to reduce overwhelm that will leave you feeling relaxed and expanded.

“Hypnosis is actually self-hypnosis. I am not controlling a person, they are gaining access to the part of their mind that creates automatic behaviors.”
-Dianna Whitley, hypnotherapist
Dianna Whitley is a hypnotherapist, coach, and bestselling author of five books, including (Staying Young at Any Age: 15 Simple Steps to Turn Back the Clock). She discovered hypnosis over 25 years ago when she was unable to sleep or function after a tragic family loss. Through hypnosis she was able to sleep on her own and work again after the first session. She was so amazed at how powerful it was, she decided to get certified and make it her life's work.
She had 3 very successful hypnosis centers in Beverly Hills, Santa Rosa, and Huntington Beach, CA, called Positive Changes Hypnosis, where she helped over 7000 people. During the recession in 2009 she decided to go back into private practice, and has been doing that online since long before the push to work remotely.
In today’s talk we discussed how hypnosis works, the misconceptions behind "mind control", and what conditions hypnosis can help . At the end of the podcast Dianna takes us through a short relaxation and stress reduction session that will have you feeling blissful and re-energized.
