This episode features a powerful conversation with Erica Navarro who navigated a 27-year marriage marked by nearly a decade of gaslighting and betrayal.
Despite being the primary breadwinner and enduring years of psychological manipulation, Erica emerged from her divorce in January 2025 with her financial stability intact and, more importantly, her peace of mind.
We dive deep into the mechanics of long-term gaslighting, the unique pressure of being a female provider in a betraying relationship, and the radical act of private forgiveness as a tool for personal liberation.

Whether you left or they did, watching your ex jump quickly into another relationship is never easy. It can make you feel like your relationship didn't matter—and the worst part is when they go back to the life they had before you. Living in the same apartment building, seeing them live that old life except you’ve been replaced.
You find yourself comparing, wondering why you couldn't make them happy when this new person seemingly can. Or, maybe you just want them to suffer because you’re suffering. Either way, you can get stuck in a cycle of anger and resentment that isn't a good look. Today, we’re going to make sure that doesn't happen, because you deserve better than to allow this person to have that kind of control over how you feel about yourself.

Most advice tells you to "give it time" but this is a different type of breakup. Most people don't expereince this type of pain. So just giving it time doesn't work because you're healing some serious trauma. Let's break down what you will walk through after leaving this relationship.

When life changes and you can’t control what’s happening, most of us go straight into resistance. Accepting what is isn’t easy especially when you’re knee-deep in pain.
What happens for a lot of people is they get stuck. Stuck in the anger. Stuck in the bitterness. Stuck replaying the story over and over in their minds, trying to figure it out, trying to make it make sense. And because they can’t accept what happened, they never fully move forward.
But acceptance doesn’t mean you like what happened. It doesn’t mean it was okay. And it definitely doesn’t mean someone gets off the hook.
It simply means you soften the internal battle that’s making your healing harder than it needs to be.

Have you spent your whole life being the reliable one, the mediator, or the "emotional glue" of your family? If you grew up in an environment where you had to carry weight that wasn't yours, you might be experiencing Responsibility Trauma. In this podcast, we dive deep into why some of us feel a constant, heavy obligation to fix everyone else’s problems and why it’s so hard to finally put that weight down.
We explore parentification, the "mature for their age" label, and how to start healing from the exhaustion of over-functioning.

What actually makes a relationship last—and why do so many people repeat the same painful patterns? In this episode, we break down what healthy relationships are really built on (hint: it’s not chemistry alone).
We dive into the subtle, often hidden unhealthy patterns that don’t show up as red flags at first, and why taking responsibility for your own growth is essential before you can truly meet “the one.”

Do you feel like you keep attracting the wrong people or repeating the same relationship patterns? You’re not alone. In this episode, we break down the difference between healthy love and unhealthy love, and why so many of us end up in relationships that leave us drained, frustrated, or heartbroken.
We’ll talk about why trying to find “the one” while still carrying old wounds often sets you up for disappointment, how to recognize people who aren’t ready for real connection, and most importantly, how you can show up better in your own relationships.
If you’re ready to stop settling, stop repeating mistakes, and start building the kind of love you truly deserve, this episode is for you.

If you feel wiped out after a breakup or divorce, it makes sense. Losing a relationship can take more out of you than people realize.
This isn’t just heartbreak. It’s emotional burnout.
You didn’t just lose a person. You lost routines, safety, future plans, and the version of life you thought you were building. On top of that, you’re still expected to function like nothing happened.
This is about what happens when that weight finally catches up to you and how you can begin to heal when you’re running on empty.
