  • 446 - Regular Team Check-Ins Matter

Awesome companies don't just exist on their own. Awesome companies come about when you have incredible people who all decide to work in the same place.

I didn't always understand this, especially when I first started growing businesses and it damaged my growth. I don't want that to happen to you.

You need systems in place to nurture and grow your people. Here's a simple way to make sure the people on your team are getting the attention they need. Have regular weekly check-ins.

This is how you can honestly and confidently say that you are looking after the people on your team.

The people on your team are growing your business for you, give them some time and you'll be shocked at what you get back.

Make the impact you know you're capable of, take a minute now and go to billionairecode.com

  • 445 - Choreograph Your Meetings

If you don't have a clear structure of how your meetings run, things get confusing very quickly.

The people on your team are not going to understand the outcomes and you're going to lose time in your organization.

The way to fix this is to have a set structure that can be repeated over and over again for all your meetings.

The more effort you put into setting up communication structures, the faster the people on your team will understand where they're going.

People need to communicate with each other effectively to achieve joint goals. Put in place systems that facilitate fast, effective and clear communication, these are the systems that change everything.

If this sounds like something you want and need in your business, let us help you. billionairecode.com

  • 444 - Wayne Dyer and Walking

I've wanted to share this story for so long. Over 10 years ago I met one of my heroes, Wayne Dyer.

The story of how we met is crazy and I'm so grateful for our meeting.

Wayne taught me a totally different way to work out and showed me how to get out of fight or flight mode on a daily basis.

If you're willing to listen I can't wait to tell you the strategies I learned that have been absolute game changers for me.

Walking and hydration are two of the simplest keystone habits to put into your life to make it easier. If you feel like you could be doing a little bit better with these things, go to getthristynow.com

Create more body and mind connection in your life than you ever thought possible.

  • 443 - The Integrator Visionary Model

I beg entrepreneurs not to set up the visionary and integrator system in thier businesses. This dynamic just doesn't work long term. It's a huge liability.

As a CEO you don't want just one single person who's responsible for your entire team. You want to have direct contact with the main functions in your business and the things that are making it grow.

Instead, set up a business around who you are, create a cadence so you're communicating with your team within a structure.

  • 442 - First Drafts Hoover

Your first draft of anything is not going to be that good, it's not going to be the final product that you end up with but you have to make a start somewhere.

Get something out there as quickly as you can so that you can test it. You can collect data, get feedback, and move forward to make your offering better.

Don't get caught in the mental analysis of "what do I need to do next" There is only so much that you can figure out without actually taking action.

Pull the trigger, don't hold back. Perfection is the biggest enemy progress ever had. If you want to get into momentum as an entrepreneur, release the pressure of perfection. It's always messy in the beginning.

If you're ready to get into momentum in all areas of your life, check out Momentum Masterclass. momentummasterclass.com

  • 441 - Entrepreneurial Trauma

How do you offload entrepreneurial trauma?

Have you ever heard of or tried EMDR therapy?

This is not your standard talk therapy, I don't think that ever works well for EPT's, this is a tool to offload trauma and so much more.

I use EMDR therapy. I recommend it to my clients, to my friends, and to my family. I recommend it to the people I love and care about because it is so consistently successful.

Admittedly, it might be risky as a business coach to advise people to get therapy, a lot of the people in my industry get up on a stage, present themselves as perfect and don't want to talk about any flaws. That's not me. I've always said on this podcast that I would be transparent and share the bad along with the good. Building a company is incredible but you must prepare for the pressure and noise that comes along with it.

If you're struggling right now, please consider doing this. There's no shame in admitting that you need some help. There's only strength in reaching out and trying to make things better.

  • 440 - Keep Hustling or Quit?

I am at Funnel Hacking Live 2019. This is the most incredible event.

Tons of people here are just starting a business but I'm chatting today to a friend of mine who has just shut down a business.

Sometimes you have to make the choice to close one door, so you can kick a whole lot of new doors open.

A lot of entrepreneurs are in the place where they're thinking "Do I keep going or do I quit"

It takes a huge amount of entrepreneurial awareness to recognize when something isn't feeling right and that you need to pull back in some way. Is your business increasing the pressure and noise in your life? Do you feel fulfilled, like you're living the life you want?

  • 439 - Simplicity > Complexity

If your business is too complicated, you cannot consistently scale, get help and build success. It's time to simplify.

A few years ago I had to simplify my business. I had to think about what is what I really wanted to do and what I could do successfully and consistently. For me, it was focusing on the EPT and helping entrepreneurs to grow and scale their businesses. My passion is helping entrepreneurs take advantage of opportunities that may have seemed too big for them in the past. That's the problem I can solve.

Where is your focus? If it's in too many different places you need to scale down the complexity. Make it easy and your business will grow faster.

Reach out to us if you're ready for explosive growth. You don't have to do it alone, we can help you. billionairecode.com/apply to fill out the short application.

  • 438 - Hold Finance and Accounting Accountable

There are very few entrepreneurs who love accounting and finance. For must of us, looking at the numbers is something that makes us feel uncomfortable. If that's where you are right now, you are not alone.

Personally, we use an outsourced finance and accounting company. This is generally a fantastic option for us, however, you still need to be involved and paying close attention. If something doesn't look for feel right, call out your finance team. Question them so that you understand what is really going on. Make sure that you hold them accountable.

It is the job of your finance team to make you feel comfortable and to make sure that you understand exactly what's happening with your money.

  • 437 - Rule Number One

What is the one thing entrepreneurs should do to achieve long term success and happiness?

Rule number one, if you're married, put your marriage first.

There's so much pressure and noise that builds up when you don't communicate what's going on for you with your partner. If you aren't honest with your spouse, it's really hard for them to gain perspective and relate to you and support you. You cannot compartmentalize your success and your marriage.

In a lot of ways, your spouse is your superpower. They can see and understand things in you that you may not be able to see yourself.

The sooner you're willing to admit and appreciate the power your marriage has, the faster you'll start achieving at the level you want.

We are going to be releasing the Relationship Cadence very soon. If you want a preview of what it's going to be like you can check out the Communication Cadence in Momentum Masterclass. www.momentummasterclass.com
