I have to admit upfront that I chose today's episode topic as the very first topic we would cover in 2023 for a slightly selfish reason: I chose to invite my friend Susie Salinas to come on the show to talk about family systems because this is the only goal I have set myself for this new year. In 2023, I want to invest some major focus and energy into getting good systems in place for the management of my home and family life: laundry, bedtimes, meal prep, grocery shopping, tidying, dishes, and morning routines are just a few of the areas where the Nielson family could use a serious reboot of our family systems. II am excited to take these challenges one at a time and focus on creating better systems to help them run well in our home.
