Wendy Riordan is the organiser of the wellness event Nourish and Flow. She has been alcohol free since 2019. Wendy drank like every body else in her teens and twenties, without many downsides or side effects. As she got older and she began to study nutritional therapy, drinking alcohol just didn't sit well with her any longer. Noticing herself getting annoyed at her Dad's funeral prompted the life-changing event of giving up alcohol. Kate is the author of The Accidental Soberista, Ireland's first QuitLit Book. She never intended to give up alcohol for good, she only signed up for a 30 day challenge! She enjoyed drinking and fully intended to return to it after the 30 days but ended up feeling so many benefits that she decided to give it another month. And that was 7 years ago. Since giving it up, Kate has accomplished more than she ever thought possible, including writing her book.
