Ricki-Lee & Tim

We kicked things off with Blackers traumatising his kids by showing them Mrs Doubtfire, only to realise it’s less about laughs and more about divorce. From there, the chat moved to kids’ sport, with Blackers proudly bragging about his son’s three trophies and a medal, including the all-important “player’s player.” Joel shared memories of pennants tennis with his mum heckling from the sidelines, while Ricki reminded us of her saxophone and netball days. Then we landed on a mum who stormed the ice at her son’s hockey match in full Birkenstocks to scream at the ref. Listeners chimed in too... Claire smashed out every netball position in one game, and nine-year-old Thomas told us how parents took “parents vs kids” way too seriously, bowling over five-year-olds like a demolition derby.

Alex Warren hit the stage in Sydney but got totally thrown when the crowd shouted “hip hip hooray” after singing happy birthday to his guitarist — turns out Aussies have their own party rules. The world is buzzing over Taylor Swift and Travis’ engagement, with the New Zealand PM even trying to lure the wedding across the ditch, plus the couple’s first public appearance was at an NFL game featuring Melbourne’s own Archie Wilson. Things got serious for Hughesy after the AFL Legends match when he was rushed to hospital with broken ribs and a punctured lung. In the Glossys, Ellen DeGeneres is facing yet another workplace bullying claim. We also found out when’s the “best time” to do it depending on your age, and wrapped things up by sharing the lessons you never forget — from Wicked cast members busting out full routines on cruise ships to Joel reliving his glory days as a ball boy.

The AFL’s Legends charity match at Marvel Stadium turned serious when Hughesy copped a massive hit from former West Coast Eagle Andrew Embley. He was rushed to hospital by his wife at 5am with five broken ribs and a punctured lung, landing him in intensive care. Blackers revealed he still hasn’t heard back from Hughesy’s texts, which he says is very unusual — and a bit worrying. What was meant to be a fun night of footy ended up with one of comedy’s biggest names on the sidelines.

Alex Warren had a very Aussie culture shock on stage in Sydney when fans sang Happy Birthday to his guitarist Ryan. Just as the candles blew out, the whole crowd belted “Hip Hip Hooray” — and Alex was completely baffled. He admitted it felt like everyone was in on a secret tradition that no one told him about. The moment had fans cracking up, and Alex’s reaction was just as good as the show itself at the sold-out Hordern Pavilion.

Joel has finally discovered Kill Bill and he’s completely obsessed we’re all very proud of him for catching up to 2003. We meet a guinea pig who’s living more luxuriously than most of us, and McDonald’s reckons working under the golden arches actually makes Aussies more employable. Ellen DeGeneres is copping fresh claims from a former cameraman about her jealousy over Portia, while Mark Zuckerberg is driving his neighbours nuts with constant construction but tried to fix it by giving them noise-cancelling headphones. And Keli Holiday dropped in for Quick Draw — and even gave Abbie Chatfield a big dose of love.

Keli Holiday dropped by for Quick Draw and things got lively fast. He chatted about life, music, and being on Spicks and Specks with Abbie Chatfield, with the team gushing over how smitten the pair looked. Between edging jokes, shadowbanned photos, and even chat about real-life orgasms in his music, Kelly kept everyone laughing. The Quick Draw battle was tight, but Ricki Lee showed no mercy — while Joel made sure Abbie still got a shoutout in the chaos.

Steve Carell and John Krasinski surprised the cast of The Paper, the new spin-off of The Office, and everyone lost it. Meanwhile, J.Lo’s old co-star summed her up in one brutal word: “nightmare.” Ouch. Ellen DeGeneres is copping fresh claims from a former cameraman who reckons she hated male staff who got too close to Portia. And poor Anne Hathaway took a tumble on the Devil Wears Prada set when her Valentino heel snapped mid-scene.

Taylor and Travis’ engagement has the world spiralling and even Donald Trump’s piping up about it, which sent the team into fits. Joel brought science to the table with a study claiming stomach sleepers have the craziest dreams. In the Glossys, poor Meghan Markle dropped her new season the same day Taylor Swift’s engagement news broke, which is just brutal timing. We also played the Age Game.
