How well do you finish what you start? I don't mean the everyday duties of your business like getting the invoicing out and I'm not talking about the laundry. I mean the things that will make your life amazingly better but really don't have to be done. I'm talking about your goals. Setting them is easy, accomplishing them is not. This episode is all about finishing what you start with some special encouragement from a business owner - just like you - who CRUSHED his 2019 goals to the tune of $100,000 in additional, unexpected revenue!

Do you have a goal that haunts you? You know the one (or two)... you've said for years you would accomplish it and yet there it is... year after year... still on your list. That's because setting goals is easy. Accomplishing them is not. Throughout this Reverse Goal Setting series - starting with episode #073 - we've tackled the entire process of how we set goal so we have a better chance to finish them. Now we need to shift the conversation to accomplishing, finishing, crushing our goals.
You can find the resources mentioned in this episode - including the worksheet to help you tackle this next step - on the show notes page at www.staceybrownrandall.com/77.
This is the final step to setting our goals for 2020... step #4 of the Reverse Goal Setting process. This step allows you to set what you need to accomplish for next year so you stay the course for your 3 year milestones and 5 year vision. After you complete this step, you might think you are finished but you need to move on to the next phase - the execution phase. Remember, setting our goals is the easy part - accomplishing them is the hard part. This podcast series is tackling both.
You can find the worksheet for this episode and the other resources mentioned on the show notes page at www.staceybrownrandall.com/76.
Once you have your 5 year vision mapped out (previous episode, #074) we need to go one step further and map the milestones that will tell us if we are on the right path to accomplishing our 5 year vision. Which means we need to calculate our 3 year milestones. This is the next step in our Reverse Goal Setting process. Let's dive in.
You can find all the resources mentioned in this episode - including the 3 Year Milestones worksheet - on the show notes page at www.staceybrownrandall.com/75.
We are in our Reverse Goal Setting series and building on the last episode as we move into defining our 5 Year Vision. There are 4 steps to this process which allow us to set goals like never before so we can accomplish them. Now if you hate visions boards and guided meditations - don't worry. We don't go there but I do ask you some hard questions as you determine where you want to be in 5 years.

The end of 2019 is near, and the year end can stir the emotional pot. Anticipation for the holidays, break from work, time with loved ones and the end of year push with your business. But there is something else that needs your attention this time of year... and we dive in to it on this episode, #073.

I love to read because I love to learn. In reflecting back on how I operate my business, I realized a few key lessons that have served me well came from some very powerful books I have read. So I am sharing those books and lessons with you today.
The resources, like the books, mentioned in this episode - #072 - can be found on the show notes page at www.staceybrownrandall.com/72.
I hit an important anniversary in my business this month - October 2019 - and I want to celebrate it with you. It's the one year anniversary of my first book's release. That's right, Generating Business Referrals Without Asking has been out a year and in honor of it's one year anniversary we are releasing the audio version. Find out how you can grab your free copy of the audio version, plus how the audio version is different from the printed copy. And I share what my next book will be about and how I need your help to come up with the title of book #2.

We are back with another listener submitted Q&A and someone from the Randall family is joining me as our guest host. Questions answered this time around are about giving referrals back to referral sources, doubting the referral system you have in place and identifying referral sources.

Have you ever thought about your business structure and its impact on generating referrals. Or the volume of new leads or new clients you need every month or year and the percentage of those leads or new clients that could come from referrals? Well, there are many different types of business structures - brick and mortar, online, service-based, product-based and hybrids of these - and we all have different client volume. So how do these two things impact our ability to generate referrals? In this episode we find out.
