If there was a prize for the person who knew the least about politics, let's be honest, I'm quietly confident I'd be in the running for that bad boy.
However, that being said... When Jacqui Lambie hits my news feed I'll always lend an ear, and when I do there are a few things that stand out.
She's unapologetically authentic. She is honest. She is ruthless and unrelenting. She is a leader.
She leans into complete and utter vulnerability when telling her story and her truths, in arguably one of the toughest arenas there is.
These are attribute that I myself, wholeheartedly admire.
These are attributes that create human connection, trust and are a recipe for success.
Her personal journey is filled with challenges and adversity. Jacqui doesn't sugar coat them, nor does she sweep them under the rug. From humble beginnings, to military training, from the rollercoaster of mental health and parenting to fighting for a seat to have her voice heard.
I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did.. You may very well feel like your sitting at high tea with royalty having two such refined ladies behind the mics.
Enjoy!

Living in a bubble.
Once upon a time Angela Flack was an active, sporty, entrepreneurial spirit who traveled the world punching out her message with her newly published book 'Edible' (you can head on over and buy a copy online).
These days though, she manages life very differently indeed. After gaining symptoms from 2015, progressing to the debilitating diagnosis of ME, or Myalgic Encephalomyelitis... yep, I didn't bother trying to pronounce that in the intro!
Angela hasn't been outside for two years.
She chats today about a little of the experience. How it likely all came about, how she processed and processes the change, the grief associated with what she lost, about how she found a new way to live and to love life along the way.
Fascinating and frightening, it sort of puts some of this Covid inconvenience into a different perspective.

Imagine the idea of losing a leg, just from taking the bins out.
Well, that's precisely what happened to 24 year old Michelle Errichiello on February 17, 2007.
Given Michelle's leg was (unbeknown to her) amputated upon impact, given that her artery was completely severed. She had 2-4 minutes up her sleeve before she bled out in the 38 degree heat.
It is, in my opinion, that some people are gifted circumstances in such a way that it unlocks something within them that inevitably ripples out to better the people around them, far and wide.
Michelle is one of these people.
Through this turn of events, Michelle developed a grit, determination and sense of self that wasn't accessible to her for the 24 years leading up to this.
She broke the mould when it came to amputee recovery.
She broke the barriers to WALK down the aisle and marry a mere 10 months post accident.
And, she broke world records when it came to running (not bad for a previous non-runner).
An absolute ball of energy that lights up the room, well in my case the virtual Zoom room... but that's the kind of unmistakable energy that I just love getting around and sharing with the world.
Enjoy!

They cruise across the sky above us, like everyday angels... touching down to save lives in situations where if these guys didn't exist, nor would a positive outcome.
They are MICA Flight Paramedics, and if you're like me it's not all to often you think about what a day in their life might be like.
Matt Shepherd, or as I like to refer to him 'the poster child for Ambulance Vic', is Mr Calm-Cool-And-Collected.
Today we shoot the breeze on his life. A life dedicated to serving as a nurse and then a paramedic. To climbing the ranks quickly to find himself up in the air filling a role in his career in paramedicine to a level that most either don't aspire to or don't reach. Matt mentors and educates aspiring young paramedics AND he's one of the epic cast on our Australian television series 'Paramedics'. All this, whilst raising a family of his own.
I do love a sneak-peek into the lives of our heroic first responders. And I'm tickled pink when they allow me to sit down with them for an hour or so to pry open their lives and share it with you guys.
Enjoy another great episode.

AED Authority Australia not only supply, maintain and educate on these life saving devices... but the team at AED are genuinely my kind of people with big hearts (pardon the pun) and great attitudes. Because quite frankly, that's what I look for when I collaborate with a sponsor for you guys!

It's WIGGLE TIME!
Well, it goes without saying I was a little star struck when the original Yellow Wiggle agreed to sit behind the mic for a banter with me... But after a few bars of 'Hot Potato' out of the way it all soon dropped away and left me sitting with someone incredibly authentic and down to earth. I thoroughly enjoyed this chat with Greg and I know you will too.
The Wiggles have spread joy and happiness throughout the lives of kids and parents for years and Greg was part of this iconic kids entertainment group. Today he shares what's underneath the yellow skivvy - hey, not literally!!
One day in January this year, Greg collapsed on stage at a fundraising event.
This was a sudden cardiac arrest.
90% of people do not survive this.
After speaking with Greg, I believe he is a gift to this cause.... And, to me for the personal rendition of my favourite song at the end of this poddy.
I'm incredibly proud and excited to now be sponsored by AED Authority Australia due to what I have learned about these statistics and I'm excited to be part of a solution that can take a persons survival rate from 5% to 72% but having access to automated defibrillation devices.
AED Authority Australia not only supply, maintain and educate on these life saving devices... but the team at AED are genuinely my kind of people with big hearts (pardon the pun) and great attitudes. Because quite frankly, that's what I look for when I collaborate with a sponsor for you guys!

Roll With The Punches is where we step into the ring and go toe to toe with the hard sh*t life throws our way.
Hosted by former boxing champ turned strength coach and speaker Tiff Cook, RWTP brings you big conversations with world-class guests about psychology, relationships, trauma, the brain, and the patterns that can make a bloody mess of our lives.
If you're curious about human behaviour, keen to challenge the stories you tell yourself, and want to understand why the hell you do what you do, you're in the right place. Tune in. Tiff's in your corner.
The goal? To question what you've always believed, understand yourself a little better, and turn those aha moments into actual change.
Because knowing better and doing better are two very different things.
And let's be honest... life's gonna keep throwing punches. We may as well learn how to roll with them.
