  • Remembering Alexander's MVP season, adding Holmgren-era players to the Ring of Honor
Alistair Corp joins today's show to talk about how his passion for the Holmgren-era Seahawks led him toward revisiting Shaun Alexander's 2005 MVP season. He talks about some of the behind-the-scenes stories that didn't make it into his article that featured Alexander along with former Seahawks Walter Jones, Mack Strong, Bobby Engram and others. With Jones as the only player from that era in the Ring of Honor is it now time to add players along with former head coach Mike Holmgren to that list of exceptional all-time Seahawks players?
The Hall of Fame in announce its newest members this weekend and a former Seahawks guard from that era has a chance to be announced on Saturday. We'll be watching to see if Steve Hutchinson gets in or if we'll have to settle with adding Edgerrin James as the second former Seahawks running back in the Hall of Fame alongside Franco Harris.

For the second season in a row an NFC West team is in the Super Bowl and most Seahawks fans are cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs to take down their division rival. Is the San Francisco 49ers recent performance dominating on the ground take away from the likelihood we could see a tight end as the Super Bowl MVP? Anthony Nachreiner and Brandan Schulze offer thoughts and predictions about the upcoming game, talk about the Super Bowl loss that Seahawks fans would prefer to have back and the loss of a sports icon in Kobe Bryant.

  • Seahawks should avoid offensive tackles from Senior Bowl's South Team
For those scouting NFL Draft prospects in the 2020 Senior Bowl, the North Team's 34-17 victory over the South squad wasn't of much importance. However, the reason why the South wasn't able to keep pace with the North was obvious to nearly everyone watching. It seemed as though it didn't matter who the South rotated into the tackle spot, or whether they played on the left or right side, there was very little time to throw the football. EJ Snyder of Windy City Gridiron, the Bears community on SB Nation, joins the show to talk about some tackles from the North squad who may be able to start in 2020.
Snyder was in attendance for the entire week down in Mobile, Alabama, and has some evaluations to share from the week of practice. At guard Logan Stenberg of Kentucky, a player Rob Staton spoke about glowingly in the previous episode, played well during the game and was someone who EJ had an interaction with during the week. He says that some of Stenberg's biggest strengths show up on tape and weren't something he could effectively showcase at the Senior Bowl.
Closing out the show by talking quarterbacks, is it possible that the Bengals could screw up the draft and go with Justin Herbert after the Oregon quarterback earned MVP honors in Saturday's game. Snyder says some reports will suggest the Bengals are considering it, but reminds fans not to put any stock in reports of where players may or may not go leading up to the draft.

  • Prospects from Senior Bowl week to watch for the Seahawks
Leading up to the Senior Bowl on Saturday in Mobile, Alabama, there's not only news about draft prospects who have an opportunity for their stock to rise, but sometimes we get some news items as well. One of the biggest news items related to the Seahawks is that they are expected to have interest in free agent tight end Austin Hooper. The Falcons tight end is set to hit free agency and could be a nice pairing with Will Dissly.
While getting weapons for Wilson is a plus, finding linemen to protect the Seahawks top weapon is also a priority. Logan Stenberg, a guard for Kentucky, is a player Rob Staton sees as someone who fits well into what the Seahawks like to see from an offensive lineman. He explains why he likes Stenberg over Josh Jones who has been getting a lot of interest this week. In addition to the offensive line, we discuss edge rushers as well as wide receivers.

  • The most regrettable moves and moments from the Seahawks season
For nine straight seasons, Pete Carroll had an incredible streak going in the NFL that finally came to an end this year. Yet, when asked about what he regrets most about the past season, the legendary streak was not at the top of his mind. Mookie Alexander, the new managing editor of Field Gulls, joins the show to talk about the role injuries played down the stretch of the 2019 season and what he saw as the most regrettable moves by the Seahawks.
With so many free agents on the offensive and defensive line, and Pete Carroll talking about the importance of continuity, which players should we expect to see return in 2020? Closing out the show, we talk about the Super Bowl matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs. Considering what the 49ers were able to do against the Packers, the matchup doesn't appear to be favorable to how the Chiefs have played on defense this season.

  • 3 IN, 3 OUT: Special teams failures exposed in key moments against the Packers
Following the loss to the Green Bay Packers in the divisional round of the playoffs, we've heard a lot of the blame get placed on Pete Carroll, Lano Hill and Tre Flowers. But this show is about focusing in on areas that go beyond the things that stood out most. One thing being overlooked in this game is the inability to come up with impactful plays on special teams. Travis Homer was targeted on special teams and exposed as an ineffective returner on kickoffs. Michael Dickson had a moment to take us back to that special season he had in 2018. Instead of spinning the ball to the sideline in the closing minutes of the game, the ball went into the end zone for a touch back. On the opposite side of the ledger, there were important moments and key plays to recognize as the most impactful if the Seahawks would have been able to pull out the victory.

  • Seahawks offseason priorities, the Super Bowl we want vs the one we'll get
The Seahawks fell in the divisional round to the Green Bay Packers. Who deserves more of the blame between the offense that was unable to put up points in the first half versus a Seahawks defense that allowed three touchdowns? The Seahawks have plenty of cap space to acquire talent in the offseason, and keeping their own free agents on the offensive and defensive line could be a challenge. Anthony Nachreiner and Brandan Schulze also take a look at a possible Super Bowl matchup that would fit well into the storyline of the NFL's 100th season.

  • Exploring draft prospects from LSU and Clemson following the National Championship
The LSU Tigers defeated the Clemson Tigers 42-25 in the College Football Playoff National Championship on Jan. 13, 2020. Rob Staton of Seahawks Draft Blog joins the show to discuss the top players from each team who are, or who may possibly be, entering the NFL Draft. Quarterback Joe Burrow was the clear winner as he likely will be the first pick overall in April. Clemson's Isaiah Simmons also jumped off the screen as one of the top players on the field.
For the Seahawks, Rob explains why he thinks Rashard Lawrence for LSU could be a player on the defensive line who could be an immediate contributor and why edge rusher K'Lavon Chaisson doesn't fit Seattle's needs. We close with a discussion about the importance of the offseason for the Seahawks and the opportunity Pete Carroll and John Schneider have to reshape the team in free agency.

  • RECAP: Seahawks vs Packers - A new moment in the history of the rivalry
In this history of the Seahawks rivalry with the Green Bay Packers, there have been some incredibly memorable moments. From Matt Hasselbeck announcing to the viewing audience that "We want the ball and we're gonna score," the game where it snowed for the first time during a football game in Seattle, Golden Tate catching a game winning Hail Mary on Monday Night Football, and a wild ending to the 2014 NFC Championship. But who could have guessed that the yellow line on television would play such a large role in the closing moments of the latest game between the Seahawks and Packers. Alistair Corp joins Brandan Schulze to recap the Seahawks 28-23 loss to the Packers in the Divisional Round.
