  • BEAST MODE: Marshawn Lynch is back with the Seahawks
After the news broke following Sunday's loss to the Cardinals that both Chris Carson would likely be out for the season with a hip injury and C.J. Prosise was out with a broken arm, Seahawks fans collectively thought of the one person who could return and offer the team a spark heading into the post season. At this point of the season, who else other than Marshawn Lynch knows the Seahawks offense well enough to jump right in ahead of a critical matchup with the San Francisco 49ers. Maybe Robert Turbin? Well, the Seahawks signed him, too.

  • RECAP: Seahawks vs Cardinals - Homer and the Beast
Brett Hundley led the Arizona Cardinals on a 78-yard touchdown scoring drive in the fourth quarter against the Seattle Seahawks. Yet, against a defense ranked 32 is pass defense and total defense coming into Week 16, Russell Wilson wasn't able to match that output. Let that sink in.
Hundley relieved Kyler Murray in the third quarter after the rookie suffered a hamstring injury. Even with Jamarco Jones getting his first full-game action at left tackle for an injured Duane Brown and the Seahawks down to their fourth-string running back Travis Homer, it doesn't seem like a lot to ask from the quarterback tied for the lead in game-winning drives coming into the second to last week of the season.

  • Cardinals preview: Arizona has a chance to play spoiler to Seahawks again
Former NFL tight end Ed Smith, host of the Bleav in Cardinals Podcast, joins the show this week and as someone who has been a part of a number of different locker rooms, we start by talking about the importance of culture to a team. Smith talks about the evolution from when he was on the Atlanta Falcons and going for a team that got out to a slow start in 1997 and turning into a team that won the NFC the following season. Looking ahead to Sunday's matchup between the Seahawks and Cardinals, the talks about the consistency of Kyler Murray and what the addition of Kenyan Drake has given the Cardinals offense. Smith says the Cardinals could enjoy playing the spoiler role once again, much like how Bruce Arians had his Cardinals teams finishing the season at CenturyLink Field.

  • Seahawks can make history against the Arizona Cardinals
The Seahawks are coming off another close win over the Carolina Panthers and it's something the team has done consistently this season. Though it looked like a 30-10 lead would lead toward their biggest blowout of the year, it now gives them a chance to set a record from back in the 1980s. Anthony Nachreiner and Brandan Schulze talk about the suspension of Josh Gordon, how it will impact the Seahawks receiving corps, and look ahead to the upcoming game with the Arizona Cardinals. Closing out the show, they offer up picks for the Week 16 games on Saturday and Sunday.

  • 3 IN, 3 OUT: The Rise of the Sexy Deep Ball
The Seattle Seahawks bounced back from their only road loss of the season to win in Carolina, 30-24 over the Panthers. Clinton Bonner and Brandan Schulze take a look at the best and worst from the game and comment on the latest news about the Josh Gordon suspension. Gordon was part of the rise of the sexy deep ball this week as Tyler Lockett had a 44-yard catch in the first quarter, Gordon had his catch and Russell Wilson had two touchdown passes at the edge of the red zone. After talking about the jet sweeps last week, the Panthers were able to take a page from the Rams that helped them score their first points of the game against Seattle.

  • RECAP: Seahawks vs Panthers - Playoff picture gains focus after Week 15
The Seattle Seahawks set a franchise record with their seventh regular season win on the road to finish the season at 7-1. Russell Wilson and the Seahawks scored on their first three possessions of the game allowed them to get out to a 20-7 first half lead. Bobby Wagner had the first of three interceptions to stop the Panthers from inching closer before the end of the half.
However, like most Seahawks game, it ultimately came down to a one-score game as the Seahawks closed out the 30-24 win. Dayna O'Gorman, of Our Turf Football, joins the podcast to talk about the win and some of the highs and lows. The Seahawks linebackers were responsible for all of the Kyle Allen interceptions on the day as K.J. Wright intercepted passes on back-to-back drives. More frustrating than the close score at the end and the jet sweeps in the first half, was that Seattle was only able to score 3 points off 3 Panthers turnovers.

  • Panthers preview: Carolina sacrificed run defense to rush the quarterback
The Carolina Panthers went into their bye week at 4-2 after Kyle Allen helped to lead the team on a four-game winning streak. Coming out of the bye, the Panthers have now lost six of seven games and fired their long-time coach Ron Rivera. Brian Beversluis joins the Field Gulls Podcast to talk about how it was time for the Panthers to move on particularly with the philosophy of the new owner, David Tepper.
In the offseason, the team got smaller on the defensive line and that has come as a benefit in terms of rushing the quarterback, however it has reduced the Panthers to one of the worse defenses against the run this season. Brian says that mistakes from the quarterback and the inability to stop the run are a couple of the reasons that allowed a team like Washington to get back into the game.

  • Impact of the Rashaad Penny injury, talks of re-seeding playoffs quiet with Seahawks as fifth seed
As the Seahawks running game was looking to be even more dominant, the injury of Rashaad Penny will have an impact on Seattle down the stretch. The biggest impact being the lack of depth if Chris Carson has to miss time for any reason. The Seahawks are favored in Sunday's matchup with the Panthers, but there are some matchup issues for Seattle to be concerned with. Anthony Nachreiner mentions how the talks of re-seeding the playoffs have seemed to quiet down now that the 49ers are back in the top spot and Seattle as the 5th seed. That could change if the Seahawks are able to win out. Plus, we get into the latest controversy with the New England Patriots and how if you're a team with a history of spying, you have to do everything to avoid looking like you're still trying to gain an advantage.

  • 3 IN, 3 OUT: Shaquem Griffin continues to make impactful plays
In a game where the Seahawks lost and were never really in the game can make it tough to come up with some positive notes from the game against the Rams. Even though we're starting with a look at the negative aspects of the game, there are a few moments that stood out in the game. The biggest takeaway is that Tyler Lockett appears to be on the mend and it's something Seattle is going to need down the stretch. Also, in a game where the Seahawks didn't see a lot of pass rush, it was Shaquem Griffin who was able to get in the face of Jared Goff that led to the pick six by Quandre Diggs. He continues to provide some impact plays even when he's coming into the game and playing a limited number of snaps.

  • RECAP: Seahawks vs Rams - Seattle lacking a key spice
The Seattle Seahawks gave up 21 first half points to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday and went into the half with only three points on offense. Two Quandre Diggs interceptions in the Rams first two possessions of the third quarter and a blocked field goal attempt by Rasheem Green on the third were the kind of plays the team needed to help the Seahawks offense get opportunities they needed to get back into the game.
Unfortunately, the Seahawks weren't able to capitalize with the defense holding the Rams to 28 points. It was the lowest scoring game for the Rams offense since the Pete Carroll first faced off against Sean McVay in Week 5 of the 2017 season.
