  • Chris Carson is making a case for a bigger Rashaad Penny workload, Saints preview, Week 3 picks
The Seahawks win over the Steelers comes with some concerns on offense, particularly if Chris Carson continues to fumble at least once per game. Brandan talks to Anthony about one of Pete Carroll's biggest rules with the team and how breaking that rule could lead to a bigger workload for Rashaad Penny. After two games, it looks like Russell Wilson's favorite targets are going to be Tyler Lockett, D.K. Metcalf and tight end Will Dissly (who is from Montana). Looking ahead to the game against the Saints, we talk about how there is uncertainty over how New Orleans will handle the quarterback position. Also, the strength of the Saints being their defensive line could lead to another close game in Seattle.

  • 3 IN , 3 OUT: Malik Turner, Mychal Kendricks, and Brian Schottenheimer provide underrated highlights
The Seahawks are out to a 2-0 start for the first time since 2013 and Russell Wilson earns just the fourth September road win of his career. After being held scoreless in their last two trips to Heinz Field, the Seahawks posted four touchdowns on their way to a 28-26 victory. When Seattle wins, Clinton Bonner starts by sharing in IN. The first one goes to Malik Turner who had three catches in this game and was on the receiving end of a key third down as well as a big gain to help get the Seahawks near midfield prior to the end of the first half. Mychal Kendricks gets credit for spinning off a blocker as well as blowing up the Steelers running back later in the game. Each linebacker had a highlight tackle against the Steelers. Lastly, Brian Schottenheimer deserves credit for making a shift after the Seahawks struggled to protect their quarterback early on in the game.

  • RECAP: Seahawks vs Steelers - Seattle finally scores at Heinz Field
Another week and another close win as the Seahawks turn what was looking like a comfortable fourth quarter win into a nail biter at the end. A fumbled transition between Russell Wilson and Chris Carson puts the ball on the ground and the Steelers are able to get a quick score to get within two points 28-26. That score would hold as the Seahawks control the ball for the last five and a half minutes of the game thanks to a Carson first down on a fourth and one play.
After losing a challenge to a pass interference penalty early in the game, Pete Carroll was able to successfully win an uncalled penalty on Tyler Lockett in the fourth quarter. It was a big day for Locket who had 10 catches for 79 yards. Wilson threw for 300 yards on the day and Pete Carroll was able to get a win on his birthday - the first win for the Seahawks in Pittsburgh since 1999.

  • Seattle's terrible September road record, revisiting the Bengals win, and Week 2 picks
This week on the Nach on Sports, Anthony Nachreiner and Brandan Schulze look back to Week 1 and the Seahawks victory over the Bengals as well as the best and worst moments from that game for Seattle. Going into the season it seemed like the Bengals were supposed to be a bad team, but how do we really know if they're a bad team or not? With Antonio Brown going to the Patriots this week there were some reports of the potential that Brown could have been in a Seahawks uniform this season. What can we take from Pete Carroll comments in the press conference this week? Seattle goes on the road for the first time this season and Pittsburgh is their first opponent, but no matter which team Seattle plays in September on the road, it seems as though they tend to struggle. Brandan talks about how the struggle is real with the Seahawks. The guys close out the segment by going through their picks for Week 2.

  • Seahawks vs Steelers preview with Behind the Steel Curtain
The Pittsburgh Steelers are opening up their season at home after an embarrassing 33-3 loss in the opening week of the 2019 season. Dave Schofield from the Behind the Steel Curtain Podcast joins the show to let us know what to expect from the Steelers as they try and bounce back. Based on the history of large defeats in recent years, we can expect Mike Tomlin to have his team ready to bounce back, because that's exactly what they've been able to do. However, this is a different year and there are some concerns about the weapons the Steelers have on offense with the offseason departures of Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell. Dave explains what he's most upset about in how Brown was able to work his way to the Patriots after the Steelers declined to trade with New England in the offseason.

  • 3 IN, 3 OUT: Key moments from Shaq Griffin, Russell Wilson and Al Woods in Seahawks win
The Seahawks come away with a 21-20 victory against the Bengals, and when the Seahawks win Clinton Bonner starts with an IN. The first of the year goes to Shaquille Griffin for coming up with some big time plays throughout the game as Shaq looks to rebound from his 2018 season. Props to Russell Wilson as he continues to put up efficient numbers while under duress and Al Woods comes up in a big moment in his first regular season game with the team. On the negative side of the ledger, Clinton calls out Cody Barton, Tyler Lockett and the gameplan on offense - any of which could have cost the Seahawks the game.

  • RECAP: Seahawks win 21-20 to kick off the 2019 NFL season at home
The Seattle Seahawks keep pace with the rest of the NFC West this week by getting the 21-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals at home to kick off the 2019 season. Ross Bell of the First and Ten podcast joins the show to talk about some of the biggest takeaways from the Week 1 victory.
D.K. Metcalf's performance stood out among the Seahawks along with a two touchdown performance by running back Chris Carson. On defense, Jadeveon Clowney had an impact in limited action, but it was Al Woods and Quinton Jefferson who had some of the biggest plays of the game. Where the Seahawks shows their struggles were on the offensive line, perhaps taking on a better than anticipated Bengals defensive line. Tedric Thompson also had a play at the end of the first half that he would like to have back.

  • Seahawks vs Bengals preview with the Orange and Black Insider podcast
With the Seattle Seahawks facing a Week 1 matchup with a very unfamiliar opponent, it's tough to have an idea of what to expect, particularly when that opponent has a brand new head coach. The Cincinnati Bengals are coming to CenturyLink Field on Sunday and Anthony Cosenza from the Orange and Black Insider joins the show to help give us some insight into the Bengals offseason. Zac Taylor, a quarterback coach for the Los Angeles Rams in 2018, has taken over the job. What have been some of his challenges in the  offseason that he's had to face?
The Bengals top draft pick Jonah Williams will likely miss the season and their top receiver A.J. Green is also sidelined with an injury. Anthony said that even though Williams is a rookie, the impact that loss has on other parts of the team may hurt them more in this game than the Green injury. Brandan and Anthony talk about a little history as the two teams last faced off in a 2015 win that the Bengals came back from a significant deficit in the fourth quarter and leaves Russell Wilson still looking for a win against Cincy.

  • Run defense will be a key factor vs the Bengals, week 1 picks
Ahead of the Seahawks week 1 matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals, Brandan joins the Nach on Sports to talk about the Jadeveon Clowney trade and how it impacts the Seahawks chances this season. Previewing the matchup with the Bengals, Brandan looks toward Seattle's ability to stop the run, especially with injuries on the Bengals line and the injury to A.J. Green. It was something the team struggled with last season, but was a big focus for the offseason. In the second half of the interview, we talk about the Antonio Brown situation in Oakland and make our picks for all of the week 1 games.

  • DK Metcalf listed as starter on Week 1 depth chart, a look at OVER/UNDER on stats for the 2019 season
The Seattle Seahawks released their first official depth chart after announcing the 53-man roster and making a few changes in the days after the initial roster cuts. One of the biggest surprises was seeing D.K. Metcalf listed among the starters considering his limited action in the preseason. Not necessarily surprising was that Tyler Lockett is still the starter at special teams, yet somewhat surprising considering his importance to the team now as the top receiver on the team. In NFC West news, Jared Goff signed a deal to stay in Los Angeles through 2024 with a record amount of guaranteed money.
Alistair Corp and Brandan Schulze go through a list of over/under stats for 2019. Will Russell Wilson top 4000 yards to help make his case for an MVP season with the Seahawks? Can Chris Carson eclipse his total carries from 2018. Can Michael Dickson put more punts inside the 20 yard line in the history of the NFL. It's tough to tell when we don't even know what the record is, but we attempt to make a guess. With Jadeveon Clowney now a member of the Seahawks, Alistair muses on the potential that he could be much better playing in the Seattle than he ever was in the Texans scheme. Lastly, we take a guess on where the team could be in terms of their record around the bye week.
