In this meditation we are returning once more to the Muladhara, Root Chakra, to explore the aspect of belonging. What I feel is freeing and beautiful is to feel and understand that subtle energy of belonging to ourselves, of being rooted in an inner stability, that as the outer world shifts and wobbles we remain within a sense of safety. Safety is not something we wait to be given; it’s something we remember and reclaim from within. And we can also remind ourselves that we are never truly alone. The mycelial web of humanity, the forest of unseen kin, holds us. These are the themes that we explore within this meditation.

This meditation is inspired by the energy of Easter. Now, beyond its Christian symbolism, Easter is rooted in ancient traditions of renewal and rebirth, a joyous celebration of the rebirth and renewal of nature. It's a reminder that from darkness, light can return… and from death, something new is born. But today, I want to invite you into a different kind of resurrection— One that isn’t about the death of the body or even the death of the self… but the gentle letting go of the ego—that part of us that clings to identity, control, and fear.

This isn’t about losing who you are.
It’s about becoming free from the part of you that keeps you small… That convinces you that your worth is tied to your roles, your possessions, or your past. In spiritual traditions, this is often called ego death—but we can think of it as an awakening.
A remembering.
A return to what you’ve always been: part of the infinite field ofconsciousness, beyond form and beyond fear.

There are many Minor Chakras in addition to the main 7 chakras that you may already know. This subtle energy centre of the Vagus Nerve, or Alta Major, Chakra rests at the base of the skull, where the spine meets the head. It is a sacred gateway between the physical body and the higher realms—a mystical threshold where intuition, insight, and divine guidance flow into form.
