The Origin of Everything by Vernell Moss
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/1665790687
Throughout history, humanity has endeavored to understand the origins of life, a pursuit often referred to as the “Universal Question.” From an early age, children ask their parents, “How did we get here?” This question is not limited to the context of human existence but also encompasses the origin of life. It is not just a single inquiry but a three-part exploration. It begins with our natural birth, extends to the birth of our parents, grandparents, and ancestors, and ultimately leads to questioning the origin of life. This complex question serves as the gateway to our journey of uncovering knowledge of everything under the sun. Similarly, scientists apply the same question while studying the natural world and the beginning of everything, seeking not only to unravel the beginnings of humankind but also to probe the genesis and significance of all that exists, starting with the very cosmos itself. Like orphans searching for their biological roots, we turn to science, religion, and philosophy for answers, unaware that these fields are also driven by the “Universal Question,” a curiosity. Curiosity is the “cause,” science is the “effect,” and religion, atheism, and philosophies about life are the results.

  • The Chris Voss Show Podcast – Wild Pivot: Notes from a Political Life Rewritten by Jen Thompson
Wild Pivot: Notes from a Political Life Rewritten by Jen Thompson
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GPDB2LPY
For fans of Educated and You Could Make This Place Beautiful, a memoir of powerful vignettes about a rock-star Republican strategist who gives up a life in politics after a near-death accident spurs her into a search for deeper meaning.
Jen Thompson rose to the heights of politics in her early thirties as a celebrated Republican strategist—a rarity for a young woman. For years, success and power were her only ambitions, despite the drumbeat of her inner voice warning that her life was wildly off course.
It was only when a car accident nearly killed her on the campaign trail of a nationally watched Senate campaign that Jen finally decided to walk away. Her sudden alienation from the life she had always known set into motion cascading events that carried her across the world and deep into a reckoning with her own soul.
A memoir in vignettes, Wild Pivot explores how blind loyalty develops and shapes a woman with the craving to fit in and feel celebrated. With a piercing ability to explore just how jarring change and evolution can be, Thompson moves with unflinching honesty and razor-sharp wit between snapshots of her life as she grapples with the demons of her past and commits herself to doing what is required to live a life of truth and freedom—no matter the cost.
    About the author
Jen Thompson is a former political campaign manager and counsel in the U.S. House and Senate. She successfully made up for a massive campaign deficit by orchestrating five events with the President of the United States and dozens of other key political figures. She has been quoted in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Chicago Tribune, and served for eight years as a political commentator for NBC and ABC affiliates in Virginia.
After managing a nationally watched Senate campaign in 2002, Jen left politics and moved to Australia, an experience that transformed her politically and personally. Born in Chicago, she has lived in twelve cities, seven states, and three countries. Jen currently lives in Redlands, California.
Wild Pivot: Notes from a Political Life Rewritten is her first book.

    https://www.amazon.com/Tamales-American-Family-Margaret-Donnelly/dp/1977220746
Margaret Donnelly, emeritus attorney at law of Texas, certified in immigration and nationality law, proposes in her fifth book, Trump, Tamales and the American Family, that it's time to smash our culture of fear and follow the example of our World War II Greatest Generation, who built economies, exporting peace and prosperity throughout the world. Donnelly also suggests that we should invest in our American family--a family tree with roots and branches that stretch from the top of North America to the bottom of South America. It's time to join each other in a metaphorical kitchen, sharing resources and labor to produce a sacred meal, tamales, together, just as extended families of the Americas have been doing for ten thousand years. President Donald J. Trump--the Great Negotiator--is invited to this dinner table to remind him that he can help us move beyond a border wall toward a great transformation of the Americas.About the author
Margaret Donnelly is the author of "Bolívar’s Heart", "The Path of Lord Jaguar", "The Spirits of Venezuela" and "The Song of the Goldencocks", which received Honorable Mention at the 2007 International Latino Book Awards in New York. In recognition for her community work, she was awarded the Presidential Community Service medal by the League of United Latin American Citizens of the United States (LULAC) in 2006. Born in Venezuela, she moved to the United States with her family at age 15. She now resides in Dallas, Texas, where she divides her time between her immigration law practice and writing.

American boys are failing to meet their potential―the author of the New York Times bestseller The Collapse of Parenting explains why, and what we can do about it, in this updated edition.
A growing proportion of American boys are failing. From kindergarten to college, boys are becoming less resilient and less ambitious, and the gender gap in college attendance and graduation rates has widened dramatically. In this fully updated edition, Dr. Leonard Sax draws on scientific literature and more than thirty years of clinical experience to explain why boys and young men are failing in school and disengaged at work.
Sax identifies six key factors: schools unfriendly to boys; video games; medications for ADHD; environmental toxins; the devaluation of masculinity; and, in brand-new material, the combined forces of pornography, AI, and the manosphere. Throughout, Sax presents practical solutions, sharing strategies that educators have found effective in reengaging boys at school, as well as crucial guidance for parents about everything from selecting a school to preparing a meal.
A powerful call to action, Boys Adrift is essential reading for parents and educators who want to build a brighter future for America’s sons.About the author
