Mark Divine was a competitive athlete, martial artist and led elite teams during a 20-year career as a Navy SEAL officer, retiring as Commander in 2011. Remi Adeleke was born in Nigeria. Following the death of his father, his family relocated to the Bronx, New York, in 1987. Remi joined the Navy in 2002 and later joined the Navy SEALs, where he specialized in combat medicine and HUMINT (Human Intelligence/tradecraft). Ending his successful naval career in 2016, he was led to pursue careers in film/tv consulting, directing, writing, and acting, including Transformers: The Last Knight, SEAL Team CBS, Ambulance, The Plane, and Terminal List. As a filmmaker and screenwriter, he wrote The Unexpected, Slave Stealers, and The Chameleon, from which he recently signed a three-book deal to create a series.

Sal Frisella is a former multi-sport athlete and current president of 1st Phorm. After a run in minor league baseball with the St. Louis Cardinals organization, a career-ending leg injury in 2006 dramatically changed the trajectory of Sal’s life. He began working for Johnson and Johnson where he sold medical devices. In 2010, Sal joined his brother Andy at 1st Phorm. Chad M. Kerksick, PhD, is currently an Associate Professor of Exercise Science and serves as the Director of the Exercise and Performance Nutrition Laboratory and an Assistant Dean for Research & Innovation in the College of Science, Technology, and Health at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO.
