Having feelings of frustration because you're not where you want to be right now is valid. But what I want to remind you is your thoughts influence the result that you create in your life. So, what if you started practicing a new thought which could bring the transformation you desire?
In this episode, I am sharing thought work I've been practicing in my life and helping my clients practice in their dating lives too.
"It doesn't take time, it takes alignment."
With this new thought, you move from a place of stagnation to one of action. What action can you take to get into alignment? Think about what you can do today to get into alignment with your values and move towards the life you desire tomorrow.

This week I am getting a bit personal on the show. I talk about a vulnerable experience I recently went through, how it made me aware of the stories I've been telling myself when it comes to wanting people to like me, and what I learned about myself. And of course, I talk about how my lesson can be applied to your dating life.

Sexuality is at the core of who we are, our identity, and our power. Sometimes due to the stress of dating, people-pleasing, or losing sight of yourself after past relationship trauma; you shut the door to your own sexual identity. Joining me this week to talk about how to reclaim your sexual agency and transition from self-judgment to self-compassion is Dr. Juliana Hauser.

I am talking with Julia Hochstadt, LCSW, about how trauma can show up in your dating life and what you can to do get support. Many of the people I work with also get support from trauma therapists. Trauma deeply affects dating, their love lives and impacts their healing process. Because I am not an expert on the topic, I invited Julia to share information and resources around abuse, trauma, and dating.
Trigger warning: In this episode, we talk about the themes of abuse and trauma. If that's something you know wouldn't serve you in your journey today, then please skip this episode.

I want to dive into a lesson I am actively learning in my life, which is to do nothing. I've been thinking about how my clients and listeners of Date Brazen can apply this lesson to their dating lives too. So yes, this week, I am inviting you to: Do nothing.
Doing nothing is a key part of the intentional effort you are making. Intentional effort leads to intentional results. BUT, intentional action doesn't always mean BEING ACTIVE or constantly DOING. No, it can also mean laying down, deleting the dating app for a week (Yes!), and most importantly, being intentional about rest.

This week I am talking about boundaries. Boundaries are one of the most important tools (besides self-compassion) that you have, in your dating arsenal. In this episode, I share a boundary starter pack of sorts and explain why it may be hard for you to declare your boundaries and offer a strategy that will help you get started. When you declare your boundaries, you also affirm your worthiness. And as you know I often say, you are worthy of what you desire.

I am so excited to welcome Christine Buzan to the show. She is a confidence personal style and posing expert. During this episode, she helps us understand how we can show up in our lives more fully, at any size. We cover a lot of ground including the idea that we carry around beliefs about our worthiness and how sometimes those beliefs stop us from showing up authentically. You deserve to be seen as you are, right now, today; my gorgeous friend.
