Yesterday three Prime Ministers, including our own, came together to call for a sustainable ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
The call came as the UN General Assembly voted overwhelmingly to demand the same, in a strong show of global support for ending the Israel Hamas war.
But Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said a ceasefire is not an option.
In this episode of The Quicky, we look at what it will take to make a ceasefire happen - is international pressure enough to force Israel and Hamas to lay down their weapons?

There seems to be two types of people through the month of December.
The first are full of festive spirit, excited for the parties and socialising, soaking up those finish line vibes. The others are in full burn out mode, dragging themselves to the end of the month with less optimism and more dread about what the next few weeks look like.
And while you might fit into the latter, there are actually three very distinct types of burnout that extend beyond a feeling of being tired or too busy.
In this episode of The Quicky, we look at the three types of burnout and how to combat them to start afresh in 2024.

You may have heard of Incels before - but do you know what it means?
It stands for involuntarily celibate. It's a group of boys and men who group together in online forums to vent their rage and sometimes share the ways they're getting revenge on the women they believe would never date them in the real world.
In this episode of The Quicky we take a look inside the incel movement, the ways in which they are enacting their revenge and why 'chadfishing' might even catch you out.
To learn more about this check out the SBS series Inside The Incels here and here.

For two weeks Australia has watched on as witnesses have described what they believe went down in Parliament house in 2019.
Both Bruce Lehrmann and Brittany Higgins have endured attacks on their credibility and honesty as they have been cross examined over the night they returned to their place of work after a night out drinking.
But with the end of the trial nearing, what happens If Bruce Lehrmann loses? Will he face a similar situation to former Australian soldier Ben Roberts Smith who has essentially been named as a war criminal after his defamation trial?
The Quicky team takes you through the trial so far and the implications of a case that never got an answer in a criminal court.

What time do you eat dinner? Is it 6pm so you can eat with your kids? Or maybe it's 9pm after a long day of work? Maybe it's somewhere in between.
There's new research to suggest that maybe we're dining a little too late in the day which may have negative impacts on our body.
In this episode of The Quicky we look at the right time of day to eat your dinner and what we can do if that's not an option for you.
