According to Harvard Business Review, women are asked to volunteer for invisible tasks at work 44% more often than men. Our guest today, Kelli Thompson, was always asked to organize time-sucking parties or fundraisers, for which she never received recognition.
Invisible tasks benefit the organization but likely don’t contribute to someone’s performance evaluation and career advancement, hence making the work invisible for pay and promotions.
Kelli is a keynote speaker, writer, and award-winning leadership coach who helps women advance with clarity and confidence so they can make an impact in the rooms where decisions are made. She is featured in Forbes, MarketWatch, HuffPost, Parents, and elsewhere.
