This writing is the transcript from today;’s talk. You can read the words or listen/watch the video at the end of today’s article. Sending you love from Arizona.
And your actions are aligned. A lot of people talk about what they, what they want to do or what they want to achieve or who they want to become. But so much of life is your mindset. It is what you think about yourself. It is what you think about your opportunities. It is about the story you tell yourself as you are experiencing life. You know, so many of our lives are similar, but we view the same things differently. And sometimes there’s benefit to that, but sometimes that can hurt us in our journey. And I found a, a lot of value, a lot of value in getting clear on the direction that life is going, on the direction that I want things to go, whether it’s in personal or, or business, friendship, relationship, family. Having that clarity, having a, having a vision, having a purpose, and then waking up every single day, putting in efforts to live inside of the mindset necessary as well as the actions necessary to align with the vision.
Now, I don’t say this from a place of rigidity either because we do know that, uh, people need to adapt. You do need to adapt to what’s going on around you. You do need to adapt to your environment and to your circumstance, to your capabilities, to your abilities. But you also need to adapt to the possibilities. And I strongly believe, this is something I teach to all my clients, something I’m always talking about, I write about it in my books, is your mindset is everything. And when you can get to that congruence, that place of congruence, and this isn’t about perfection. This is just about that place of congruence where your mind and your actions are aligned, where you have that praxis, where you have that energy that is just flowing because the mind, the body, the heart, and the soul, you have that union. You have that, that union, that connection between all things.
So I, I hope you have a great week. I hope you stay focused on your mindset. I hope each day you wake up and you program your mind on where you’re going, right? Where you are right now is most likely the result of a previous mindset and previous actions. So if you love where you are, that’s good. Keep doing what you’re doing. Keep investing in your life the way that you’re investing in your life. And if you don’t, if you don’t like what you see, it’s no, no reason to beat yourself up about it. It’s just about, “Hey, pick yourself up. Where am I going? What do I need to do? What do I need to focus on?” And the question that I love, a question that I give my clients all the time is: who do you need to become to experience what you want to experience? Or, who do you need to become to go to the level that you need to go to?
So much of life is, uh, just about your personality, your personal reality. So much of life is just about the personal reality that you choose to live in. And the beautiful thing is that, you know what? There’s some things we can never change, that we do need to just accept and love about ourselves, and there are some things that we can shift, we can get better, we can, uh, improve. And, and, and for some of us, it’s not improvement. For some of us, it’s just alignment. Like, some people don’t need to get better. Some people need to actually just live in alignment. And through the natural consequence of living in alignment, everything is better for you, right? Some people approach personal development work and they’re like, “Oh, I just gotta get better,” and that’s true for some people. Uh, that’s true for a lot of people. You do need to get better. But there’s a lot of people who don’t actually need to be better. They just need to be more in alignment, which you could argue is better. You could argue that’s better too.
