Self Enquiry Series - Week 1
Over the next four weeks I'll be bringing to you a self enquiry question to take away, reflect upon and journal out what comes through for you. This is a powerful tool I share inside of The Legends and also REAL & RAW to help my clients ask powerful questions and receive empowering answers, so they can make choices that align with what truly matters
Today's episode focuses on the question .... Where are you dishonouring yourself?
Have a pen and journal by your side if it's possible, or listen back to this later when you can be still and present to tune in.
Lotsa love, Kat x

There'll be times when the stories in your head create conditions on why you can or can't do something. Maybe you really want to book in a fitness class, and you do. When the day comes to attend the class, your ego starts rattling off, "oh, it's too cold! I have too much to do at home. I need to get fitter before I go. I'm not in the mood!"
These stories place conditions on how you, or something (weather, weight, work) has to be before you can go and do that small little something you'd love to do.
Today's episode gets real about the stories in your head that are currently cock-blocking you from following through on something that you know will deeply serve you and your life.

If you dare to ask the hard questions, are brave to hear the answers and courageous enough to act upon them, you are well on your way to being an aligned, authentic legend.
The reason you don't ask the hard questions is because your ego fears that the life, relationships and person that you've built will collapse, so it keeps you busy and distracted with "life".
If there is a part in you that is ready to ask, be brave and courageous, please, honour that. To do what deeply serves you and your life is a precious gift to give yourself, and this is one sure way to begin doing what is in your best interest.

After asking myself the question, "what can I do that would be deeply beneficial to me?", I received the answer, "take a step back where you can." Straight away I began to notice where I could pull back and one of those places was to take a break from podcasting this week.
Of course, my thoughts are flying around saying how I can't do that. But, I can. I'm buying back some of my time to heal and process current upgrades.
See you next week treasures. x

As children, we create a control dynamic in order to deal with life's happenings.
For example, maybe you were the eldest child and had all the love and attention from your caregivers. Then, your sibling is born and that love and attention is shared. Unconsciously you make a decision about what that means and how to behave in order to gain control back. Maybe it's by being overpowering to your younger sibling or becoming reckless to take the attention back. This is control dynamics at play and we all do it to feel safe.
I've recently uncovered one for myself which I share about in today's episode.

What do you do when you're filled with anxiety? Do you find it too uncomfortable to feel? Do you look for ways to distract yourself, will-fully tell it to, "fk off", or do you become it and let is take you over?
I used to get angry when anxiety would show its face. I made it mean that something was wrong with me and that I wasn't mentally resilient. Now, I'm still not a fan but I have better ways of managing it.
In today's episode I share about being in the hight of anxiety and how I'm currently managing it.

Do your thoughts rule the roost?
When they come in, do you grab onto each thought and hold it to be the whole truth?
Do you behave in ways where you question, "what the hell am I doing?"
Do you know you're not your thoughts but you don't have a way to not be overcome by them?
Today's episode is about what can happen when we don't powerfully manage the thoughts in our head, how that contributes to feeling shit about ourselves and what you can begin doing to shift the current relationship with your thoughts.

Last week the full moon hit me hard! I woke up and felt like I'd been whacked across my head and was in a state of, "ughhhhh!"
I shared about this on insta and plenty of people were in a similar boat. Most were like, "OMG, me too, thank God I'm not alone", whilst others offered advice to help shift the state I was experiencing. If you've watched Brene Brown's Atlas of The Heart on Binge, then you'll recall her talking about how control is the near enemy to compassion. That when you open up to someone and they feel uncomfortable, instead of sitting with you, they feel the need to fix or offer a solution.
To me, it's important to share the whole journey of mental health and not just a highlight reel. It helps people feel heard, seen and less alone. In today's episode I share more about this and how our need to fix locks out compassion and as a result, connection.

This is a tool I have used for years when I am unsure about what decision to make or when I'm wondering if I've made the 'right' one.
To be real, there's no right or wrong decision, as both lead to experiences, however this practice really helps provide certainty and a feeling of support from the invisible forces that you're on the right path. Enjoy.

To all my fellow, “I need to fix myself in order to be loved, accepted, chosen, taken seriously”,
or whatever wonderful limiting belief you’ve made up, this one’s for you.
My ex full time job was to fix me to perfection and it drove me to feeling so low about myself. I didn’t want one shard of broken piece left in me, and I made it my business to clean it all up.
Turns out, the real work was in accepting the bottomless pit of brokenness and darkness, acknowledging it, listening to it, understanding why it’s there and learning to coexist with it.
If this is you right now, please, reach out. I am here to show you another way that will bring greater peace, empowerment and freedom than trying to get rid of it can.
